First off, thanks for the response (I mean that). Second, all I'm saying is, at present, you could get through one tricky part, set a check pt, die immediately afterwards on a second tricky part, then respawn at the start having to go through the first tricky part again before you can even attempt the second part. Combine that with the lack of a savefile (at least mine didn't save) and you get a formula for ragequit. Yes, restarting at your last position might make the game too easy. But as it stands, this game is freaking HARD. I dunno, just my two cents here.
Too much waiting...for the amount of recharging you do in the game, you should recharge instantly on touching a light, instead of that goofy delay. Also, having to restart at the start point each time kind of defeats the purpose of checkpoints, doesn't it? Nice concept, though
Brokeman11, in the game you are in a maze so if you would respawn on the last checkpoint you were, you could spawn on the other side of the maze so you'll have to go back, the start point is in the middle so you can go to every direction. The intention of the checkpoints is to recharge your energy while you're discovering more of the map.
Thanks for suggestions.
Molder and Skelly are missing the REAL conspiracy...that witch is the biggest scam artist of them all. After all, what the heck would spirits want with gold? Hell, they can't even touch the stuff. That witch is taking the $ for drinking money and SUMMONING the spirits herself if you don't pay up! Oh, err, I meant to say 'Good game!'
After ~45 mins on standard (yeah I suck), I finally got my 50 pts! Time now to try for the badge in this swit--Challenge mode? I've gotta do that ish again, but even harder? Oh, h*ll no...GL to all you other KGaters out there though
*Oh ! look she had her bear all along*, the parents said, completely oblivious to the piercing, murderous stare directed at them from Teddy's eyes. But Teddy shows them what's what that night as he smothers Mom with a pillow and offs Dad with two taps to the back of the head. And them Teddy and Little Girl lived happ- Wait, no. We're not done. Teddy gets Owl to return him to the forest where Teddy violently breaks the back of the deer that caused him to be thrown from the car in the first place. NOW Teddy's revenge is complete, and he and Little Girl can live happily ever after. I suppose if you're the target audience for this game, you probably shouldn't have read this comment...
And for that matter, that thread is invisible against that black background; I had completely forgotten I even had it in invo until I looked at the comments...
1. I may be in the minority here, but, would it be possible to clear the screen of enemy bullets when the bosses' hp hits 0? Some of these patterns are really tough to dodge while bullets from the previous wave are still on the screen. 2. Eirlys has a couple of patterns where she shoots white bullets - against that white background. I don't think you meant to do that (unless you did!) 3. FAVORITED! I will be coming back to this game
1. I will work on that. The game is supposed to be difficult, however you should never need to dodge two attack patterns at once.
2. I had a few friends test the game before posting, and that was the most contentious issue. Some said it was stupid and unfair, while others said that it just encouraged you to stay on the path where bullets are more visible. In the end, I decided to leave them white to make it unique, and because you don't unlock any bosses by defeating Eirlys.
3. Thanks! It really means a lot that you enjoyed it!
It's a shame...can't help but to think this would/could have been AWESOME with an option for mouse control. I've always sucked donkey chunks when it comes to dodging w/ the keyboard (I don't see how you guys do it!)
I saw that ending coming about mid-game or so, and still...d*mn... Very nice presentation though. I gotta admit, totally lucked out on the evil lair level, heh
Thank you, in my next projects i'll use those tips.
