Here's a fun little interaction: playing metris against endazu. I've got frame, and my opponent has paper vipers. I attack, the vipers retaliate, my frame bounces the attack back at my opponent, the vipers retaliate...
Lagging issues aside, the only thing I feel this game lacks is some kind of a special display for completed clothing sets, i.e. once you've completed a set there's a special dialogue somewhere in the equip screen that explains what bonuses, stat and special, the complete set provides. Maybe a button that you can just press to fully equip a cat with the set.
I don't understand the point of only being able to spend one type of currency to buy a given card in the shop. If someone spends enough time playing that they've got a few million to spend on a dragon, then they should be able to buy that dragon. Similarly, if someone wants to spend duel points on a card, then why not let them spend duel points on it? I just don't see the point in not having cards priced for all three currencies.
Sorry, I apologize for the harsh tone in my previous comment... I'd just gotten owned by a Master Daramek AI and (you saw this coming, right?) I can't tell you exactly what happened because it went by too fast.
You know, I really do love this game. I play it just about every day and it's a lot of fun. But the AI opponents make their moves way too fast and with no play log, I'm getting sick of being owned without knowing why/how because the AI made a bajillion moves too fast for me to follow
There really needs to be a slow-down option or a game log or something. I miss a lot of what happens when the computer "goes off" and makes a half dozen moves in the space of a few seconds. I almost never catch what card the Metris comps remove with misinformation and last game I lost but have no idea why. Based on my math, even though the comp somehow pulled a Stratagem twice in a row, I still should have been left with 10 health and won the next turn. Instead "something happened" and my health mysteriously vanished.
If you make a third installment (and I really, really hope you do) I'd appreciate if we could manage the inventories of ALL the characters who join us, not just the ones in the active party. Just because I don't have someone in my party now doesn't mean I won't include him/her later.

There seems to be a bug with some of the enemy AIs, including the chimera boss. They don't use their abilities often/ever. I've beaten the chimera a few times now, it's never used its frenzy skill on itself.
Okay, I'm just going to say it... This is the vampire version of Tyrant. I don't mean that as a bad thing, Tyrant is a good game. Thing is, if you're going to use another game as a STARTING POINT for making your own vision a reality, please improve on that game. Make it your own game. Don't make the same mistakes as your predecessor. I don't have a problem with the energy, you can play a lot of games before running low. It recharges kind of slow, but whatever. My problem: the "chance" cards: tenacity, flying, skills like these. They say there's a "chance" that something will happen. How much of a chance? No idea, the players aren't told, but it seems to be a decent enough chance that certain cards can dodge or revive many times during the course of a match, which is overpowered when a card gets a lucky streak (5+ in a row is unfair) and frustrating as all heck when it doesn't happen for you.
It's a good game but there are a few things I recommend adding that would improve the game play: a mass-retreat command, the ability to set rally points, and a speed up button.
I like the idea of adding commanders to our armies but could you please include an explanation of what the abilities do? Taking some of the guessing out of upgrading our commanders is a good thing.
Hi, no problem, I dont take offence. However, I am English, hence the S. No matter which way we spell it in the game, it will be wrong for someone :)
