My strategy, which so far have never failed me (even on extreme). I use it no matter what government type I play:
1) Close harbours and airports in uninfected states.
2) Spend all your money on handing out masks in infected states.
3) Wait for the vaccine to be developed. Meanwhile, continue handing out masks as states get infected. This should also keep panic down.
4) Once vaccine is ready, start vaccinating people in Texas, Florida and California (these should be infected by now).
5) Keep 3-5 vaccines running at all times.
6) When there is less than 1.000.000 healthy in a state where you run vaccine, turn it off.
7) Start a new vaccine program in the state with most healthy people (check country overview for that).
8) Continue to alternate between points 6-7 untill you win a vaccine victory. So far, I've won all games at all difficulties by day 20-25.
Allthough I must agree that the game is pretty easy, I still find it great fun. Hence, 4/5.
It would have been great to have individual stats tracked pr. player, thing like goals scored (run and throws), longest throw, tackles made. Just for laughs, and to see if the names I remember from my macthes are really the stars of the team.
Downgraded to 1/5 for two reasons: The game is trying to sell me something... then it shouldn't win the prize anyway.
The game is appearently easy to hack. About 1 in 4 games are ruined by obvious cheaters.
The last level is pretty easy.
Clear the 6 ourter 'planets' first. 3 of them contains baseships with armor, 3 battlecruisers with missiles.
Just turn on turbo, wait untill shields (III) and reactor (II was enough for me) is fully recharged. Then do a flyby on maximum speed, perhaps firing a few missiles, and firing your annihilator (max coolant, max. firing speed) all the time. Take out the enemy fighters, wait for shields/gun/reactor to recharge, and repeat. Takes a while, but is easy.
My lvl 5 setup: centaurs, dwarfes, witch, lord of shadow, tauren, black knight.
Skills: Comet, rain of arrows, lighting bolt, Athena Protection, Hersules' strength.
All at lvl 5, obviously.
Group your entire army at the middle, making certain you don't provoke the supergoblin. Stay there untill your entire army is ready and gathered. Have Protection and Hersules' strength ready.
Move forward, and cast protection. Then strike the supergoblin.
Your forces will force him backwards.
When you reach the enemy castle, use Hercules' strength.
It worked for me on second try... I don't know if I killed the goblin, or just kept him contained while I destroyed the castle.
The physics need to be consistent. I've tried succeded in first of two bridges, and while building the second bridge on the level, the first (that worked on previous try) suddenly breaks. The two does not share any components or keypoints... The same bridge should give the same result on every single playthrough.
Any game that doesn't work gets an instant 1/5 from me. I had rated it 4/5 when it worked, and I really hope that I'll be able to upgrade my rating again later. :)
A fun little game, with some creative thinking involved. However, the many levels which required fast reactions (the ping-pongs and lvl. 25) makes me rate i 3/5 instead of 4/5.
I rated it a 5/5 the first time I played, but has been steadily downgrading to 2/5 now. The idea is great, but the game is to slow, to laggy, and has to stupid AI-pathfinding. Obviously some poor programming behind a game that has the potential to be very very good.
Pretty fun. Sometimes you're just randomly screwed, but hey.
Fun fact: On level 20 I just opened the rightmost switch and let luck decide their fate... it worked pretty well, and most of the crashes on that level was from switches I controlled. :D
To beat the Baron, remoive his Focus. Whenever he's at 0 focus, he'll do a move that restores focus at the cost of life. So keep his focus low, and watch him tear himself apart... but how do I beat Gregers?
Wonderfull game, allthough it would be nice with some mouse-over hints for the different special manouvers, especially during War Academy, where you haven't chosen them yourself. Apart from that minor issue, a welldeserved 5/5.
With the increased main gun bullet speed, I actually find the game playable... However, I still have a problem with the checkpoint feature. I managed to get myself killed immediatly after checkpoint 6, meaning I die the very instant I reload latest checkpoint. So I have to start all over again... :(
