Definitely needs upgrades. It's just the same events happening over and over again. Possible upgrade ideas: Bellboys to deliver food and drink, front desk personnel, and maid service. Granted, they shouldn't take care of EVERYTHING, but having to go and yell at them for not doing their jobs could add a bit of new.
Gave it a few days and came back. Still no love on level 6. Note to the developers, strategy does not equal stupid hard hordes of bad guys with only one obscure tower combination to defeat it. Downgraded rating from 4/5 to 1/5 because you cannot finish the game as it is now. Put in a slow tower, have upgrade towers with better upgrades that actually improve as you upgrade those (not just the range of the upgrade tower, that's asinine), scale the difficulty of the baddies with a lot more balance, and let us choose what we buy in between levels. That will go a long way to making the game actually playable. Ridiculously, stupidly tough baddies does not a good tower defense make.
Sorry for the double, but this game was posted a year and a half ago. Is the dev STILL at that conference? That's one long arsed conference. Fix the stupid badge already.
Okay, apparently you fixed the tower upgrade glitch and the boss issue, but now I'm having insane difficulty with the level after you buy the Speeder. This has become crazy hard. So I restart thinking I'll be able to bypass the totally useless Speeder and Damager and nope, you must buy the items in the order they're presented. I'm just about to give up on this entire game due to this level.
Tower descriptions are a MUST. Buying new towers that are utterly useless is royally annoying.
Okay, that was the only beef I had though, although I do agree with some of the boss complaints. :) Fun game! 4/5
Seems like a fun little game, but my buildings aren't building for some reason. The framework pops up and it takes my money, but it never completes and I can't use it.
Okay, reducing my score from 4/5 to 3/5, as you progress in levels the baddies are all the same type, just going faster and faster with more hit points. No real strategy involved. Slow 'em and whack 'em with your big guns with homing maxxed.
The air strike button never lit during the tutorial, a bit better placement or at least a tooltip would be nice. And where are the tower descriptions? Also, letting us place more than one tower before the waves start would be nice. The upgrade doesn't seem to be right either. It says I need, say $100 to upgrade, but the button won't highlight for use until I have over $100. If it's $100 exactly, it won't let me upgrade. However, all that being said, a nice upgrade from the original. I really like the new upgrade system, and the war-mart (hee!) has great selection! Didn't have too much of an issue with the 10 second wait thing. Now, if we can play all the levels here on Kong, I will be a very happy panda!
Juggling on this game is somewhat more difficult due to the delay in towers getting sold, but I suppose it could be done. "Juggling" refers to letting the baddies get all the way over to one side, then selling a tower on the other side and blocking their previous path. Repeat until all the bad guys are dead. Good example of this in the Bubble Tanks TD game.
Not a bad game, but the navigation is a bit confusing. Also, hints for certain items like the telescope would be useful. With all those balconies to gaze out from, how are we supposed to guess that you take it outside of the house altogether? Still, solid game. 4/5
Adding a few clues when you find items like the telescope would help a lot. How in the world are you supposed to guess that you use it to look at the top of the house from the outside, particularly when you have all those balconies overlooking areas? Aside from that, pretty good! 4/5
