I wish only the only blocks that spawned were 2s. If you're almost out of room, you often find yourself at the mercy of the cruel Random Number God, and if it spawns a 4 instead of the 2 you were hoping for... you're f'd.
The problem with the Speed power is that there is literally no downside to using it every turn. There's no inability to stay still, no increase to detectability, no ill effects afterward, and no cooldown. Without any kind of downside, it shouldn't even be a separate power. You might as well make the thief able to move three times between every guard move from the get-go.
It was really fun at first, but by the end you were placing long series of obstacles requiring split-second timing with no opportunity to rest in between. It almost became too frustrating for me to want to finish. (I did, but the end stretch felt more like a chore than a game.)
I like this game overall, but I wish you would use other music than Kevin MacLeod's old stocks. It's used in many works everywhere, and really undercuts the tone of the story. (I'm sure if you ask nicely, AdrianvonZiegler will let you use a couple of his tracks.)
The game would be a lot better if the controls weren't so wonky. The wizard takes an entire half-second to accelerate to full speed, and yet stops on a dime. And for as fast as he runs, his jump height is pathetic.
There's too little substance to this game, even by idle game standards. There's only one pinata (which changes color ever 1250 candies; that doesn't count), and you can't progress to tougher pinatas for greater rewards.
Curious is this is sarcasm or an actual issue. I'll PM you to grab some more information from you. Thanks!
