Er. Can anyone say blatant commercial exploitation of St. Patrick's Day? The game is also too short, obviously rushed for the holiday. Sort of a mindless 2D scrolling spam-attack button game. You always move forward when attacking? Also, what's with the sheep that take many hits to kill while some leprechauns go down faster? 2/5 Commercial polish, but exploitation of the holiday and too short.
More crap RPGs from China. Lovely. And annoying "on our way" effects over and over again. Too much crap from China these days and not many polished works from elsewhere. Most people prefer content and gameplay over anime characters and fluff. 1/5
Fun until I reached area 12 with the multiple levers and gate to time. Ug. Then it just became work. :-( 3/5 because it's a good game but sadly a clone of Shift and Chronotron rolled into one flash game.
Completed. Nice retro sound track, but utterly frustrating. Died many times trying to perfect the timing. More frustrating than enjoyable and NOT worth $15. Sorry, not ever. It's a flash game, and it's nothing special at that. For $20 you can buy Torchlight which is a well-produced game by about 30 people at Runic. This VVVVVV is not nearly worth $15. $1 may be.
Jerky movement/panning of game area, clunky controls (bad response), and all of this on a PC that stomps DirectX games with a GTX 295. Poor design. Poor writing too. Was this written by a teenager?
Another kill all zombies game? Even less original and less inspirational than other kill all zombie games. Sorry, but this concept is Major Suckage. We're about as tired of these games as people are tired of Twilight's sparkling vampires and the people who post on failblog about them. 1/5
Annoying. Decent control, but just way too random and fast with things hitting you when they come from off the screen with split second reaction time? No thank you. That's not old-school, that's just schizo. 2/5
121 seconds and 3 mistakes, but then I dragged my browser over to my Wacom tablet and it was much easier! lol. Still, even on a Wacom, it's tough to get a perfect score.
