Much like previous versions of this series, I would dearly like to know which skill permits me to spontaneously summon 50-100 troops (& seemingly new) heroes, whenever MY HQ is endangered. This rush effect gets less combatable and less enjoyable to fight with each new game.
Not only is 25 about 10-15 too many, some (large) differences only count if clicked in a certain location... ie, if you click on the difference, but not at the 'ideal' spot, it counts against you. Also, the 2 pictures often seem shifted right/left of each other, looking at the edges.
Discovering the main cannon had finally degraded back to single shot at Lvl 21 with the golden balls was not a happy experience. Nor for that matter, degrading back to to dual shot in time for Lvl 32, the overflow of chasing happy faces...
after level 5, my finger is starting to hurt from having to constantly press the fire button. 2 shot upgrades, missiles or no missiles. 5 extra lives, 5 bombs. maxing out is suprisingly easy, and game gets boring quickly.
Why am I forced to choose Easy level when there are 4 difficulty levels in the menu? It is a Jigsaw puzzle game; there is no reason to consecutively lock difficulties. Piece recoil from incorrectly placing a piece is extremely annoying. Finishing Easy level, then only makes Medium available, but if I actually choose to try it, I am harassed for doing so... This does not particularly inspire me to play further. ...Also, I recognize some of the art. Do you have permission to use what is almost certainly copyrighted art?
Kinda like the game, but find it odd that my 5yr old laptop has no lag, yet people who seemingly have much better computers complain of unplayable amounts of lag...?
fascinating. A "Treasure Hunter", but you die if you do not *precisely* hit the target number. ie. I lost a life for getting too many points. That's just dumb.
I thought I was doing well... And then the country lines went invisible on lvl 7. Wish the map was a tad bigger, though. Hard to see the straights to pick out Istanbul, for example.
Well, if it was called the sacred sword at the beginning then I guess I just missed that. You'll have to excuse me for not wanting to restart the whole game, at this point, just to look at initial message. Heh. Finally found the Sphinx's town, & got the list of answers, only to be asked the classic riddle (for which I didn't need hints). Such is life. *Goes back to sword hunting in cleared caves...*
While it's nice to know (now) that I started with the relic weapon, it is stated repeatedly in game that there are *5* relics, and when you get all 5 of the sacred armor, you get a message to go to the Minotaur. When starting the game, is the player told that their starting weapon is *the* sacred weapon they'll need to fight the Minotaur? I obviously don't remember. I dropped it pretty quickly as even the maces were better. I hope I can refind it soon... the snakes & wolves are doing 5dmg/attack. Current Stats: 1064 XP 43HP 61ATK 70DEF. *Which cave did I drop that sword in anyway...?*
Not bad, I kinda like it. However, I have a few questions: 1. Where is the indestructible weapon? Currently I am buying out entire towns of gladiuses/weapons just to make it through a dungeon w/o running out of weapons. It takes me 4-8 gladiuses to clear a dungeon. 2. Why if a dungeon is filled with 'lesser monsters' and a Harpy/Satyr/etc. do these 'lesser monsters' average 4-6 per hit on me, while the dungeon boss does 1 per hit on me? For the record that was with full sacred armor and 64 Def. 3. Zeus tells me to help kill the Chimera to receive a sacred item, but by the time I do, I have the 5 *already* from elsewhere, and get a mere 500gold. Er, what? 4. Are there any clues ingame to the Sphinx's riddle? 5. I have (and am wearing) all the sacred armor, yet am still not allowed inside the Minotaur's cave. I have also defeated 7 of the 8 Monsters in the 8 dungeons, and the Sphinx's dungeon is clear except for the Sphinx. What do I need to do to enter the Minotaur's cave?
Honestly, went through most of game with 12 dodge, 1 detect, and 6 disable. Even when able to find traps, was injured more often than not attempting to disable it. Ended with 52 tools for lack of good reason to use them.
I presume the big chest equipment is totally random? Nothing like getting a +1 health -1 Detect on floor 24...
starting a new game (cleric), solo vs 1st enemy, a bat, is hitting 4x per round. As this did not happen when starting the fighter, solo vs 1st enemies, I assume this is a BUG.
1 that makes the game too hard to be fun.
Odd Thing (probably BUG): As a Fighter, had 2 Troll companions, and in fights everyone had 1 turn each. 1 Troll died, so I booted them, and then every enemy had 2 attacks per round. Then the other Troll died and I booted them, too.
Now, my (newly) solo fighter is taking 4 hits for every 1 he can make.... this is making things *very* hard.
most games give mission objectives *in* the briefing, not hidden in the options menu, after starting the mission. mind you, those games are better than this one.
On the Pirate Level, had a chest with gold and gems on 1 side, and a chest with just gems on the other, yet it was NOT one of the "correct" differences... >.>
