While I won't claim to be enamored of the new variable damage system, it would likely be a great deal more tolerable if, rather than only knowing the max damage possible, items actually said what their range of damage was. Even "1d3" would be better than just "3".
There's just something about bonte games. I find myself replaying them every time they come up as Badge of the Day. Can't say that about many other devs.
If you're complaining about the wrong tags such as "Bullet Hell", frankly, were I looking for Bullet Hell games and found *this*, I'd be pretty ticked.
There have been several times now, in the later levels, where the icon is soo small now, in choosing a correct answer, the game thinks I am instead trying to remove that item and removes a life. (Even lost a puzzle to this: "Well, if it's not THIS, then THAT can't be there either... Eh, that's wrong too?... [Puzzle Failed]"
Among other things, it really needs a Start Over button. "Well, I think I know what I'm doing now, so let's start fresh! ...but there's no such option. Maybe if I lose, like I would've anyway... but, no, that just freezes the game."
Tooltip 31: "Always think twice before declaring war on somebody." For example, even if your military is in the 300s, and theirs is 70, there's no way to send your army to crush them, so eventually, they have 800+ and you have zip.
Because everything is random draw and fully automatic, there's nothing I can do to win a battle I'd otherwise lose. Yet, I must sit through every battle else I lose battles I might otherwise win, since the only way to skip the replay is to Forfit the Battle. Absolutely amazing design choice.
Pretty nice that if you get stuck somewhere, it just moves you on to the next puzzle, and then cycles you back through whatever you hadn't solved yet, after giving you a first crack at all the levels. The controls are a bit inconvenient though, felt like I needed a 3rd hand to use them easily.
This probably makes no sense, but: If, while it is loading, I click in the game area, it progresses to the title screen where I can then load my game and begin playing. If I *don't* click in the game area while it is loading, then the loading bar fills all the way up, and just sits like that, until I either close or reload the tab.
Its actually a really good idea, thanks for the feedback, I made some changes for that. :)
