You are in a new place, in imminent danger! (... but I refuse to tell you any details, or important info, such as exits, that might get you out of that danger) "Look" There is an exit to the west. (but you didn't move in time, so you're dead.)
In the ARMORY, while you can't pick up anything, each of the 3 items need an action performed on them to tidy the room. "examine pile" got me one, and the armor... turns out you don't need an item, to clear away the dust.
Won on my 3rd try. Took a little bit to figure out when/how much to save for healing. Never tried to fight MercOff, though it probably would have been fine, even before getting 7's in Att/Def. At some point, Healing becomes more effective, though I really don't know what the boost depends on.
Sepitus's Claw for +5% party damage! (+1 star for no benefit, +2 stars for no benefit, +3 stars for no benefit)... "Upgrading" this item is rather expensive for no benefit gained. :(
5 floors of the exact same enemy, and what does Armor even do? I may have had 6 Armor, but 1 damage enemies still do 1 damage and the 8 damage enemies still do 8 damage.
A few things that probably need to be said: 1st, in order to (re-)plant anything, such as trees, you need a fair chunk of Iron (down below bronze and coal). 2nd, since several creatures, including the kamikazes, can open (not close) doors, while nothing but you can remove blocks, Dirt Blocks are probably more useful than doors, as they take no tools to clear. 3rd, while everything can jump as high as you, you're the only thing that jumps Down through Plates. 4th, almost every tool has durability, and must be repaired via ore of the same name as the tool. There's stone everywhere, so use the Stone Pickaxe to get around, and just bring out your best pickaxe for metal blocks, traps, and ores better than Coal. Lastly, while Traps can kill some bosses, you get no credit for anything killed via Traps, be it xp or other items.
Sure is nice of those Bulldogs to sit in water up to their eyeballs until all the birds are rescued. If Maze Cat is further up the totem pole than Maze Dog, Maze Bulldogs must be so far down the totem pole, they're below the soil line.
Hi CluelessWonder!
Maze Cat may or may not be up the totem pole from Maze Dog, but is definitely always one step ahead! I think Maze Bulldogs are just too lazy to get up, and the water is so toasty warm that they don't mind having a soak while Maze Dog saves the day. :P Thanks for playing!
Given the description of Preachers, I expected to need to build a House of Worship before I could hiring each one, while the reverse is actually the required order.
Yer, looks like I had the 'old' achievement text still stuck there. The achievement is indeed 'Get a Sword Combo of 100'. I'll update the text for it next update.
Alandeanavery: look in your Exchange menu. Blood Containers, 4 Leaf Clovers, Machine Frames, as well as Gold Bars are all kept track of there, and is the location where you can trade them for other benefits. If you hadn't purchased the Exchange menu yet, you wouldn't have 4 leaf clovers at all.
I am aware of at *least* 21 buildings (incl. 5 from tier2) I have now, but never purchased. 5 of those started new building types I would never have been able to afford. A thought occurs to me: my temples exclusively pray to Quetzalcoatl (never changed to a different god). In addition to the slight building price discount, does it randomly award me a free building?
Thanks for pointing this out. Yes Quetzalcoatl does grant random buildings periodically, I now fixed it so it will only be buildings you already unlocked.
Weird things are happening in my game: When I first played, I was getting Factory-type upgrades, despite not having bought the ability to build Factories. Later, when I reloaded the game, I had 2 Factories (never had the cash necessary to buy a 5th building type). Now, I have come back and loaded the game again, and somehow have a free Powerplant. I know that was supposed to cost 1 Quadrillion, but I've never had more than 11 Billion at any one time. Also, Statistics say I've got a total of 378 Buildings, but my lists show 60, 80, 75, 80, 80, 1 (powerplant), for a total of 376. What could the other 2 be?
Since I have yet to purchase the ability to build Factories, being eligible to buy an upgrade that "decreases Gear time" (Gearsplosion), seems strange.
UNDO will help you, as will the name of the location you are in.
