it's a strange cross between building management and a typical TD. i wouldn't mind, but it's kinda ugly. still, i might finish it, because it's pretty interesting, even though bothering to invest in building seems like a lousy return. (perhaps the game is just poorly balanced?) anyway....
@resound you have to construct BUILDINGS, not just play tower defence. look at your main map. @Eddie cute story, bro. thanks for sharing.
interesting. at least now i understand why the story is so silly and dumb: trying to peel me away from the mind-numbing tedium of the "game", if you can call it that. i enjoy the music and story, and even the premise, if only i could be so arsed to complete each level, but it's never gonna happen. i'd be insane in the brain to even attempt it.
at least they picked the one easy Papa game of the bunch. seriously, how hard is it to fry up a bunch a burgers and just splat everything on top? i never minded this one, even though these customers are still friggin nuts....
okay, funny game. barely makes sense. some upgrades barely seem to do anything (even with loads of sight, they're still dumber than friggin dirt). on the other hand, the music is INSANE. the theme from Crazy Bus would be an improvement. (though secretly, i harbor a like for it, it just goes to show how horrible and annoying this music is. bless you for the mute.) fortunately, seeing Kongregate referred to as a religion though, made the entire play worth the while.
game is tedious, repetitive, and irritating. also sick of having to click the same things over and over again. wish i could set up an auto-strategy. too boring to finish. good thing it didn't take long to get the easy badge. dun and gonzo.
the one game that KLouD's usual statement might be right about, but entirely the wrong reasons. i do have one beef though: it takes entirely too long for the level to check itself. gimme my points, man! ಠ_ಠ
not too easy, but none too difficult either. pretty fun, and if it weren't for the deluge of avatar change bull, i'd say it warrants a pretty good score. as it is, i'd say slightly below average for hitting high on my Stfu or Gtfo Meter.
crap controls, lagtastic play, horrific and boring gameplay and platforming... is there a way this game doesn't suck? oh, right. the music's good. but good music does not a good game make. it's still a one-star game, and only because you can't give a game no stars. what's up with that?
right after i click on the link to play the game, my playlist randomly hits Steve Miller's "My Dark Hour". should i be worried? not yet. Going Down Gambling? Check Yo Self? gimme a break. jeez. Nowhere to Run? okay, maybe later.... or maybe not. Century22 is right about one thing, the time you play this game isn't equivalent the "seconds survived". that's just wrong.
overcomplicated fortress defender with mock Mega Man X soundtrack and stupid boob jokes? erm... no thanks, even if the game plays pretty easy, i'm sure i'd go insane from the extremely short between stage BGM. i don't care if it's cool at first, it wears on you pretty fast, and i had to mute before it gave me a blasted migraine. just got the Witch-Slapped Badge (though that's not how my head feels, for sure), and that's how i'm gonna let it be.
Good Idea: trying out a new concept. Bad Idea: milking a new concept. Good Idea: getting people to like your games. Bad Idea: repeating the same thing over and over again, but without making it better. Good Idea: stopping when you know you can do better. Bad Idea: rambling or bungling onward when presenting less makes both you and your game look both better and smarter. This, dear sir, is called overkill.
it's called epic boss battle for a reason. don't be surprised if you go you all your continues. gotta hit the little fish for re-stock too. not being able to beat it doesn't mean you suck: it just means you're not good at this kind of game. only thing i don't like is when he's almost dead, and then you bite it: doesn't matter if you have a continue or not, it's 10M off your score, and that blows. lol
i'm being bugged by what now? (yeah, that's a load of bull.) my only gripe is that... actually, i don't have any. interesting game. not really my type or all that (personally) fun. probably won't finish, but decent game if it's all the same.
ftr, i love how if you miss your swing, you get auto-hit, even if you manage to jump over your opponent (thinking, "why did i swing in the first place?"). on the other hand, if you "connect", but decide to jump over anyway, it lets you. that's just effin great. lol.
with a name like 10 is Again, i could've sworn it was a bonte game. after the game started, and i was groovin' on the background music, i still felt like it was a bonte game. lol
napalm for daddy long legs? wouldn't have it any other way. (if you've ever been in the Boy Scouts, you will agree.) M16 for centipede control? bless you, Fly Anvil, if only you'd been in my life years ago.... i do feel bad about all those dragonflies though. no idea what they've done to deserve this.
Such was the 2011 metagame...
