Very nice... Yay for enemies with self-preservation behaviour. Those jellyfish-things are almost creepy in their purposefulness. Issues I can think of: 1) Levels are much longer than those in similar games (Luminara, Boomstick, etc.) (didn't bug me, but may bother others); 2) I only saw one major weapon upgrade. At least one more visible upgrade of whatever sort would be good. If there already is one... it takes too long to get. ~_^ 3) I hate it when I lose my weapon upgrades after a death. But that might just be my own problem, not the game's. *shrugs*
The gameplay isn't as bad as folks are making it out to be, but it does need a lot of work. Powerups that give more control to the player would be nice.
I do wish enemies didn't have a wider map to run across than I do. Other than that, great game. I also like the idea of an upgrade system, but I'm an RPG weenie anyway so whatever. *shrugs*
Man, I hoped the other commenters were overblowing the badness, but they're. This is a dress-up game, and you can't even play with the doll afterwards. Y'know what I did to the dolls I got as a little girl? Stripped them naked and RIPPED THEIR LIMBS OFF.
Hated this the first time I played it -- was being the alien or somesuch -- but liked it much better after coming back and playing as Alloy a bit first. My combos haven't been registering for the badge, though. -_-;;
Ummmm, as of level 11 I'm getting all kinds of weird bugs -- enemy triangles going walkies outside the border-lines, spinners jumping to different lines and failing to die or duplicate... wacky. I sadly have no idea what started it. I did have to restart once a few levels back...
...game hitched and I accidentally flagged it while trying to use the chatroom. No idea how that happened, but if some mod sees this, please remove my flag here? Anyway, decent game, although the movement is... awkward. And heros in crotchless armor annoy me. Other than that, my only complaint is that it *really* needs a run feature so you can move faster through cleared areas.
Direction of coloration is confusing. We can only section off < 50% of the remaining space at a time, is that it? Then if you get really close to 50%, you have no idea which side of the board is gonna be taken...
