Replay the first Mission for more points. I got quite a few the second time around, just send all the waves early-ish and bomb/combo rapid-fire them down.
OH look it's another one of those crappy upgrade systems... where the total cost is cheaper. I pay 10 for rank 1 and 20 for rank 2. But if I buy rank 1, I end up spending 30 instead for rank 3.
The more you play the slower it seems to get. This even translates to punch speed. Refreshing is a quick fix. However this seems to carry across quite a few games I've seen on here as of late.
Swordsmen seem to have more health then barriers, but I could be wrong. The 4 lines of spikes will kill all Spiders, Skeletons, Goblins and sometimes Slimes (timing) which will lend very nicely to the extra gold when killing with traps. 3 Lines of Archers brings that killing ground up to Trolls and Orcs if you're lucky. However, I'd suggest using Maxed Knights instead of Barriers, since they have more health, damage reduction below 50% and deal damage of their own.
Ghosts will get further than dragons more often than not though. :/
Hotkeys don't make sense partly. I'm not sure why it resets the timer when switching from Cannon to Cannon, I have a bad habit of button jamming and this really seems pointless.
And after tweaking Selene's equipment... "Hey Selene, what's your DPS... -1258.85? Okay, take that weapon off, switch your pants and... What's it now? Infinity? Okay, we're set." (Literally says infinity for her DPS)
Correction on that last one being a bug. (It may still be...) However 334 speed stat seems to be the reasoning behind Selene's 630 DPS (0.07 second delay on attacks). Quickening and Time Warp seem to boost this, and perhaps giving a greater bonus than intended, but seems to work scary good. (I.E. passive 20% speed boost with crit every 4th hit at 0.07 delay between attacks... I don't even know what's happening.)
Um... Lady, what are you doing... everyone in the party has about 50-70 DPS... and Serene bugged out to have 630 DPS. Mages make the best autoattackers because of their... spells?
There were a few puzzles that were a hassle for no other reason than to be a hassle, if there is ever a sequel, perhaps a way to cut back the dragginess of later levels with new elements that aren't complicated.
I think that there should be more speed involved in small things like calculating your cash if not a skip the calculation part with a click. Also having the game equip your first purchase into all empty slots would be nice. Going through and changing it for a couple with new equipment is one thing, but going through and doing it all at once is a bit tedious.
What is probability as it applies to dodge chance? Seriously. for a tower defense game, dodge makes easy feel hard. Too much loose bits that should be good, but with horrible application. While I initially enjoy these games, it's honestly crap. Gameplay is stagnant too quickly. Afterwhich there are too many "dead" tower options that inhibit you more than help. Likewise the gold rate compared to the need to upgrade rate is highly distorted.
Adding insult to injury it restarts the game when you win. This game could've been a neat concept, instead it basically turned into a tedious repetitive game. The new elements were fun, until they were overcomplicated for the sake of complication, not skill.
Worst part: When your line slides.
Best Part: The Music, which is tedious and irritating after a bit.
Honestly too many bugs and while I did complete it, it wasn't worth the effort.
I'm sorry :/ there are still a few horrible bugs left :(
