Wow, too rough punishment for getting accidentally hit (losing your item). There was a monkey exactly when I couldn't jump and it was too fast (I saw it early enough, but couldn't jump in time due to a block above me). Okay game, I guess.
I'm thinking 37 is the minimum possible at the moment. Someone told me level 6 is doable in 3 seconds, and I've been looking at level 10, but no use for now.
Please bring balance to this game. As for now, the game seemed to be great at first. Great graphics, great story, great platformer, but as soon as I tried the first level, the horror struck. It is completely random what the guards will do. It is possible they wait for about half a minute staring in the direction you want to go (so you have to wait, annoyingly), and it's also possible that the moment they turn their backs on you and you go for a sneaky kill, they immediately turn back around and start shooting. It's so incredibly random, that even if you perform the best moves, you can still end up dieing or failing objectives, due to factors completely outside of your control. Then there is the issue with having to start over entirely, but this wouldn't be a problem if the guards had fixed movement.
It seems it .. skipped level 3 for me. That's kind of a bother since I need to earn money per level to gain upgrades for the next levels. Also, why is this entirely random? On the first level alone, you could either have two flights starting in the opposite city from where you are, or both starting from the city where you currently reside. Wouldn't it be better to keep it the same as to not have players fluctuate insanely between upgrade levels?
I fell through the floor, the story disappeared, and I couldn't do anything any more. It was in chapter 3 of that ancient city or something. The game is original and looks nice, but A+ is far too frustrating to get on those very long levels.
Ugh, the level traps seems to be a bit bugged. When you walk on a platform you can turn on/off with a lever, your character will keep "bouncing" up and down in such a way you cannot ever jump off (only walk). Can you make it so it will act like a normal platform when it's not moving?
Yes, thanks, someone already whispered me about it. Guess this is just not my type of game. I know it's meant to be frustrating, and I simply don't like that. I can see the game is well done, though.
I've been smacking and smashing the boar boss for about half an hour now. He can't get me down, because I simply heal with the apples from the bushes, but I don't seem to take away any health at all from him. What "secret" combination attack is there that I missed in the tutorial? Since you mention there's "thinking outside the box", I'm assuming that I still have to do something legally allowed in this game, and there's nothing left to try. The spears he drops don't do any damage to him either.
Please reset the scores for levels in which you could get a higher score before? I'm aiming for the top scores, and if someone gets a few hundred free points, they'll automatically be better if having equal times.
I'm supposed to get an achievement point for finishing a mission. I didn't get an achievement point when I did finish a mission. What am I missing out now?
I was able to get all but one of the coins in that level with going from stairwell to stairwell until you could jump down through a shower of coins, and I didn't bother going through the frustration in acrobatics getting all the coins, but the rest is doable (said from first-hand experience). The level which was confusing me the most was the one-before last level, I think. It had three parts each of which could switch between three parts or something, and they were constantly bothering each other with their walls on top. It's a shame the highscores are totals only. If you could add highscores for amount of coins and score gotten for only your best runs, it would be great. One for stars would be fine as well, naturally.
Okay, it's not going entirely as you wanted it to go. One level says "downloading virus" in which you shouldn't do anything to proceed while in another it says "shutting down computer" in which you DO have to cancel. Both are texts up above. So, either don't say I should always ignore all of the comments up above, or change the second one (it should say something like "not shutting down computer", that would make more sense).
Doesn't make sense. I start out at 50 health, get +20 from the medkit, and the cold alone brings me down to like 40-30 (I rushed as fast as I could to get the heater started). Controls are crappy at best, so you can't turn around quickly if a spider spawns right behind you. It takes another 10 health every time it bites you. I died at the campsite, simply because there's no way to gain so much health absolutely required to get through the first part.
Is the bonus of level one supposed to be positive? Since a rain of white squares doesn't seem very positive. The other levels all have good bonuses. Also, visibility of certain enemies is almost camouflaged at some levels. The game's okay, pretty short with only four levels, but should be deserving of a good rating.
It has been said, and I'll say it again. Remove the ability for people to camp at newbie zones and kill off everyone to prevent them from starting up/having fun. Would rate this 1/5 if it didn't give me a point, but I certainly do not enjoy flying out and getting one-hit killed.
The game is great, but needs some balance tweaks and perhaps some additions. Dragons are, frankly, useless. They cost 300, but deal 1 damage to towers, and if they're not in a good angle they can only kill one unit every five seconds. 12 dwarves do much better. It also has already been said, but the best strategy is to spam cheap units and take over as much land as possible before they can. I'm thinking this can all be improved by increasing the types of units you can build, and also make some form of upgrade when going on the offensive (instead of just defensive). You could add more damage, more speed, or even an extra unit. Being offensive is significantly harder than being on the defensive. With that said, the AI sometimes is pretty stupid, suiciding itself on a strong fortress for several turns until it gives up or takes it over.
