I am just trying to understand the logic behind ruining a great game with an energy system. While I dislike Call of Gods, its energy system is designed to only stop excessive farming. This means if you play for the whole day, you're going to eventually run into energy shortage. Here, you can basically run into one after three whole fights (my maximum is 150 and it costs 45 per enemy right here). That's far too much. That degrades the quality of the game substantially, while the rest of the game is quite good.
Thank you for letting us know what you think about the Energy system, we're always looking for ways to improve our game. Let us know if you have any further suggestions for us. :)
This is bad. I farmed quite a lot, then eventually thought I'd battle a second castle just for fun, and I got completely wiped out. I know RPG developers like to implement farming necessities, but it absolutely is NOT fun to require it.
I don't remember this intense lag when the view is scrolling from before. Must have been a flash update. Still, that's going to be detrimental to the game's rating.
I would think it's something a betatester would have seen, that the guy at the bar doesn't order another drink (I don't know what causes this, but I've read it's when you "help" the drunk guy first).
Okay, so for some reason, every time I "finish" a level, you hear this annoying beeping sound which goes on forever and your score starts increasing very fast. This doesn't stop. The level doesn't end. All I can do is hit the menu button and go to the level select (reset doesn't work). This does give me the medal, but since I've had this on a few levels already, there seems to be something wrong.
The floaters are very imbalanced. They stun you on each of their attacks. It's not very fun to beat them by not accidentally being in a corner (because it means you're dead even if you're on full health, since you can't attack).
Mission 4 on EASY is pretty much impossible without farming. I've farmed around 17 missions, upgrading my hero and getting better characters/weapons, but the guy just stomps my hero with two health upgrades down to zero within a manner of hits (units? What units? Oh, those little ants I walked over without looking, because they die even if I look at them?). Surely I'm missing something very simple and very easy here?
Three problems with this game. One, Alpaca Jack apparently should be able to be juggled, but I have not found a way. Care to explain? Two, the final boss' move where he's invincible and moves around while shooting lasts a bit too long. Three, upgrades should be just that, upgrades. Upgrading your fists gives you less ability to get a combo, required for at least one challenge, and at least one badge. You should be able to downgrade, if you want, for those.
Did you change any levels after adding the scores per level in the level menu (thanks for that, by the way)? There are people I presume cheated with higher scores than what several people perceive to be the maximum, including a few of us that helped each other gain the maximum score on each level.
Yup, 55,130 pretty much is the highest achievable total score, as far as I'm concerned. Arixos and I have been playing for some time and earned it first. It's possible we've skipped something, but I doubt there's much more you can improve on.
Hmm, any way of adding how much score you got for each level in the level menu? Would make it easier to see where you might need improvement when comparing to others.
I've found out a drastic problem. The increase-speed option somehow has some kind of negative effect. I'm not sure what it is, but having tested level 1 I'm fairly sure that I can hold the ground without speeding up while getting overrun when speeding up, with the same upgrades and placement. Is the amount of speed enemies gain for some reason higher than the amount of attack speed your units gain? That would probably also explain why I'm constantly losing on level 3. I almost always have the 4x speed option on.
LordBucket, yeah, I haven't reached that point yet, but good to know.
Thanks for the update on the walkthrough, but I think I speak for most of us when I say we're trying to get a perfect score. It wouldn't be so bad if there weren't any action points, then I would just restart after winning. But now I'm pressured to survive another attack. Don't get me wrong, I like the unique system, but this makes the insane difficulty factor to perfectly finish levels at level 3 a pain. But as I see it, the problem isn't so much that my troops aren't doing enough damage. It's that if you have 20 soldiers and 2 enemies, 1 enemy will get through due to the fact that all 20 of them immediately jump on the other and completely forget about the second. Perhaps update their AI to first try and attack targets that are still moving, and then move to attack targets that are already being attacked. This will prevent those imbalanced runners from getting through even though you could easily handle them.
