Since enemies only become more difficult to kill when you progress in levels, you should be able to beat the first few easily. The next, from 4-6 are slightly more difficult, but still, easily beatable. However, when you reach that point, you should slow down your killing. You only get money for kills, not winning, not beating a time. You should only kill enemies that cross the halfway point, effectively 'farming' the enemy army for cash. The first upgrade you should buy is 'Take No Damage' - You can walk up to and even behind enemy lines for easy headshots. 'More Damage' is for those who can't aim. :P

There are many improvements this game could use, like color schemes. My eyes tire of red very quickly. And as long as we're on the topic of bubbles, I'd like to mention the uselessness of all these different bubble types. With the resizing bar, you can take any 1bp bubble and make it into any 2bp bubble. This also applies to certain weapons... It'd be better to have two 'basic cannons' than one '2 parallel cannon' - you'd save 1bp. Although, it really doesn't matter - unless flair is more important to you than strategy and success, you won't be using all your bps. I actually, only need one. If you need a higher class, just move your entire tank forward - the editor has no sense of centering. And speaking of editor faults, the 'symmetric mode' (misspelled in the game) is a great nuisance. It's hard to lock on the tank piece you're trying to place on the center - it's usually registered as 2, which exceeds my gun/bubble point max and brings up a message that lasts very long.
For the developer: There are several spots where you can't hit the birds but they can shit on you (above the screen, on the statue). Thanks for the rain/snow, it really helps.
For the players: If you press the number of the gun you're using, it's an instant reload. The gun counts as part of the statue, so shit can land on it, but if you hold it straight up, you'll have a smaller width and be less likely to be hit. That's most helpful if you run out of ammo. The first gun you should get, other than the musket, is the machine gun - it works best with the instant-reload glitch. (Save up for it - don't bother cleaning. There'll be rain/snow before you die. Unless you suck.)
I was in a good mood. Then, I played this game. I'm ashamed it took me seven levels to figure out that this is the crappiest game I've ever seen in a long, long time.
The best way to beat the nightmare? Learn 'Dash' and every time the nightmare attacks, run against the wall. That should stun you, but without any damage, and you'll be immune to the next few attacks while stunned. Fortitude and having a high relationship level (give gems to the boy, you'll gain relationship and more max life) help.
This is the best game I've ever seen in a long time. It reminds me of Caravaneer, another of my favorites. However, it could use more 'on-planet' interaction. 5/5 and favorited. Why is this game not one of the highest rated?
I have a Requiem, and it's totally kicking ass. I just consequtively destroyed twenty enemies around Defensora and Montrose.
