My biggest gripe might not be fixable. It seems you can only have 2 keys pressed at the same time. If you hold the gas and try to shoot a mutant while trying to steer around something, only the first two inputs happen.
Hard to describe, but this game is epic win and epic fail all at the same time. Win because of the very well drawn graphics and sound. Fail because when you boil it down, the game play is really just a complex "next" button to read more of the story.
I have a consistency complaint: On every door in the game, all you have to do is click the door to enter. But at the gas station, you have to click the doorknob?
@tasteflavored: I was remarking on how it was worded. Kind of like defusing a bomb with directions that say "1. Cut the red wire. 2. But before cutting it, make sure you have the blue wire connected to the terminal." The note was worded similarly, and I found it funny.
Ok, I just started the game and am laughing my ass off -> "...I am in grave danger or possibly dead and need your help immediately." How am I supposed to help him if he's dead?
When they burn, I like to sing "The roof, the roof, the roof is on fire. We don't need no water let the mother f---er burn. Burn, mother f---er, burn."
Okay, but who here finished it without using a walkthrough? Seriously, if I wanted to search random places for important things I would leave my keys where my kids could get them.
On one map, I ran out of air, and it put the chests that I was carrying back where they were. But on map 5, I somehow managed to lose one. It thinks that I am 6/7 chests, but with a fully pimped sub able to go through the whole map with no problems, I can't find it. Oh well, apparently "finishing" the game leaves one missing the satisfaction of doing so...
My last comment didn't show up. I think I'm nearly at the end as all I have to do is set the digital clock... Best one of these I've played in a long time. Not overly hard, but doesn't necessitate a walk through either. the rotating and vertically shifting rooms make it like a puzzle in a puzzle. 5/5
