Oh yeah, and what BraveDogBFG said: Upgrades are useless. You might as well fart into a hurricane. The developer seems to be active on it, so reserving judgement until the next couple updates.
It's okay for a game, pretty good for an idle game (I'm not a big fan of the genre). The humor is what kept it going. I went from a tiger-striped golden amoebae to a pilot, with navigator, being chased by a flaming meteor. Bonus points for silliness. 4/5 - ending dialogue needs a bit of work.
The concept is good, but the execution is mediocre. The moving ingredients really are annoying.
And just my $0.02, any kid can assemble a burger correctly, 99.9987% of the time. Otherwise Mickey D's would have gone out of business in the 50's. The whole drop thing just simply Ain't Done, Period.
My $0.02.....
Great game. Reminds me of the Sega/Nintendo/Atari games of the 80's.
High points: easy interface, smooth controls, simple combat system (which is NOT the same as easy).
Downers: Upgrade tree (defense, gold, recruitment, etc) should be visible. Not a huge issue, as the game was pretty easy, but nice to have.
Dialogue: Please - if you're going to have an english option, ask someone from an english speaking country proof-read the text. A lot of us will do it for no charge.
4/5. Fun game
I really wanted to rate this higher than 3, but just can't do it.
It really feels unfinished. It's a grind right out of the gate. Progress is, at best, like trying to climb a greased flagpole. It ain't worth the investment in time. Besides, I hate trying to wash grease out of my clothes. 3/5 - a good concept ruined by poor execution. As previously noted, the EXP requirements are ridiculous. There's grinding, and then there's everlasting grinding. If I wanted that, I would play a dungeon crawler.
I'm with the rest of the "pay to win gang." Especially when is costs to buy uncut dice, uncust dice to replenish stamina, and stamina to collect treasure.
1/5 - good concept destroyed by a crappy system.
Definitely buggy. Tried playing in both Chrome an IE. The speed power up causes random jumping with the bots. Not just in the levels after you use it, but if you use it more than once in the same level.
Sorry, can't rate it higher than 3. It's almost unplayable after the speed powerup is used. The only way to get rid of the bug is to shut down the browser, then re-launch. Too much like a Microsoft product.
One major flaw. The helicopter level was good in concept, but horrible in execution. 3 reasons:
1. The panning camera was more than just annoying, it took enemy units out of reach
2. The ground units (friendly) suck. They can't defend themselves when the chopper can't reach enemy units (see reason #1)
3. The machine guns on the chopper are wildly inaccurate, leaving too many surviving enemies on the field to overrun your forces (see reason #1)
Too much blind luck. Still giving it 4/5 for the visuals and gameplay (except for the helicopter level).
Okay, revised score - 4/5. No save feature. Really? A game with multiple endings and no way to bookmark progress? Or even a record of achievements?
It's still good - but replaying the tutorial every time I want to try something new is getting a bit old.
A good little time waster. JMO, it's a bit repetitive - but the dark humor keeps it playable (I stared down Satan!).
5/5 - going to play it again to find the other endings.
Old concept, but a nice adaptation. My only complaint is the animation. It might just be my machine, but the motions were choppy and seemed to skip frames. A nice, relaxing, brain teaser, nonetheless.
As someone mentioned earlier, a few faults in the controls. Still worth playing one you get the hang of it. 5/5
