@Suvius4: http://www.youtube.com/user/KongRubix He's got videos that help
@mnbtfd: No, level 34 is a 1 shot ace. See the video above. Two shot aces are A, 33, and 35.
@Redino987 and witsd: The timer starts as soon as the level loads, as far as I can tell.
Just to throw my two cents in this 840 page pot, I like the idea and it's a bit fun, but there are too many buttons to be pressed. I think the ddr/ffr and guitar hero numbers of buttons are more appropriate and are much more natural to do. The game skips for me and muting the chat, killing my other programs and tabs, and lowering the quality don't help. I can't get perfect even on the easiest song when it's skipping notes. The ticket, easy badge, and medium badges are about all I can take of the gameplay.
The last 4 levels are nearly the same. To save you some trouble, here's it all worked out. On 22, yellows should be balls 2, 6, and 10 (fill the rest in with green. On 23, 4,8, and 12 should be yellow. On 24, it's 1,5, and 9. On 25, yellows are 3,7, and 11.
Remember that pressing 9 on the keyboard speeds the game up a lot.
The gameplay itself runs more or less smoothly, but transition between menus (like save and quit) take so long that Firefox asks me if I want to abort the script.
I scored 5172735 on Map B Normal. I recommend the life plus combo(w,w,w), the instant death combo (f,w,t), the splash slow combo (w,w,f), and the teleport combo (t,t,t). Also, 4k towers are not worth it. Fully upgraded $4k tower stats are 1000 attack, 13 reload, 180 range, and 1 gem for $12k. Fully upgraded $1600 tower stats are 961 attack, 23 reload, 160 (ish) range, and 3 gems for $7300. Even with the cost of gems, for every 3 fully loaded 4k towers, you can 4 fully loaded 1600 towers with nice extra effects.
@painmethod: Charge works for replenishing your "sp". If you do something like SDK (down, right, kick) all at once, you shoot an energy ball, which eats up your sp
I think good screenshots are the key to a good tutorial. Additionally, you should probably try to further your own knowledge a bit more before trying to enlighten others.
Hmm, there also needs to be a pause button (If there is one, it should be p, space, or escape). I don't hear the "awesome techno soundtrack" that was advertised.
I think this game could have some potential, but there are a number things I see as problems first. While I was eventually able to get used to the controls, I think I'd prefer mouse controls, overall. Also, the claw should be able to move down even when closed. I don't really care for the blue things always killing what I'm trying to grab. I realize the purpose of them is probably to increase the challenge, so maybe requiring more balls to be picked up or less time would help. Another thing that bothered me was that you couldn't collect more than the goals worth of the balls. If I'm skilled enough to collect them before time is up, I think I should be allowed to have them. I think some sound would help, and I also think the goals/directions could be made a little clearer.
