tab space = win. I've personally never seen this before, but even if it were original, I wouldn't have cared for it. I can't really think of anything to make this better.
So, this looks like you were going for an arcade style shooter. I like the idea of a flash arcade style shooter in general, but it's going to need much more in the way of graphics and programming. Some AI would be nice.
I had a lot of problems with weird collision detection. Once I climbed down a ladder and fell to my death through the blocks. Foreground blocks interfere with seeing the character.
Unfortunately, the only connection this has with the actual George Bush is the face. It wouldn't be any more or less funny with a different person's head there. If you're going to attack a politician, make it a good parody, like palin as president (palinaspresident.com). For the flash as a whole, this really doesn't count as a game or a tutorial (which I believe are all that Kong allows). Try to add some variety. More options and winning or losing would be nice.
Some sort of goal, winning or losing, would be good. Games of giving a character directions can work out well even with relatively poor drawing (Johnny Rocketfingers, for example).
It's hard to tell exactly why, but it seems pretty one sided. Some players continually seem to do well and others continually do terribly. That's cool for those of us on the winning end, but I feel bad when it's not even close time after time.
This isn't actually too terrible. I'd suggest making a Kongregate edition though with questions about Kongregate. The mazes could stay the same, questions need to change though. Also, mute button
I didn't find it nearly as difficult as many make it sound. My main strategy that worked before level 16 is as follows: 1) Auto fire arrows (A+alt/S+alt for element arrows) and continually upgrade the tower until it's at your max. As you're doing this, you should work your mana up. The higher your max mana, the faster you get mana. 2) Still firing arrows (no units yet) upgrade fighter, archer, magic in that order repeatedly till maxed. Your max mana should be somewhere between 1k and 3k at least by now. 3) Finally, save up about 1.5k or 75% mana, whichever is more. Then spam U,Y,T, and whichever cannon like think you can afford. Use hobbits to hold the line if your tanks (paladins, protectors, orc guy) die too soon. As a side note, I find it best to shoot just in front of your tank unit to clear the riff raff rather than shooting the large crowd. He'll typically do more damage than the arrows, so you need him to hit that crowd all at once rather than waste time on single goblins.
