So easy, except when the timing gets tricky. There were like 3 legitimately difficult stages in the whole game. Would benefit from the addition of logic gates.
The balance on this game is terrible. Machine guns are way too strong on both sides; and their machine guns are too effectively countered by the decoy turret. The only interesting question is whether you can get away without the decoy turret on round 1 of a level to feed XP to your machine gun so it can get the damage upgrade and then proceed to rock. Giving the enemy machine guns a more limited range but compensating in other ways - perhaps letting them target something other than the nearest - would make the decoy turret less ridiculous.
Forget the special attacks. Just keep on the pressure with punches and kicks. If you knock 'em over, then try for a special timed for when they get up; aside from that, it's not reliable enough. I love Eve's match win animation, but I guess I'm partial to snakes.
The list of cities can often contain closely spaced duplicates. One level, Baghdad. Next level, first choice? Baghdad. Similarly with Moscow, last game, and Rostok, earlier. Downright weird. I'm also curious what the inclusion criteria were for cities. Never seen any of the largest US cities, for example; and both China and India seem desperately underrepresented.
The names given in the help for magnet and transporter bot do not match the names of the items. Like, 'fan' vs 'windmill' and 'steam detector' vs ' smoke detector'. This is silly.
I can see why from a game balance point of view charger lights don't light up when you switch the power supply off, but it's still kind of nonsensical.
Scoring is quite random. If you get an angel doll, getting gold is easy (assuming you finish); otherwise, very very hard. At least it seems you never get an angel doll as a starting accessory. ALSO: for those who complain about the length, you can very profitably speed up the game by sending waves early. It gives more score and more $$ AND saves you time.
Moreover - those synergy sets between color and symbol? If you think about it, it simply counts up the number of tiles with exactly that color and symbol in the solution (either match by color, so the symbol... matches color, or match by symbol, so the color... matches symbol). Note this quantity this is almost entirely out of your control.
The advice the game gives is horrible horrible horrible. "you have N of such and such, try accumulating even more!" but getting even an 8-pool (i.e. a 3-1 ratio in favor of that one type or color) yields a lousy 30 points and no goodies! What the frell.
Nice game, nice music. Nice that the differences change - it'd take a lot longer to memorize that way. The medium badge was easy, though. I'd have put a time bonus requirement on it. Maybe 'one level with >=25 time bonus'?.
206.60. I would have had it on the try earlier except I forgot about the 'click in the arena' achievement and just sat staring at the screen trying to remember what cheese meant until time ran out.
The story! It Burns! The king is 67% corrupt, said the cleric. No, the king it 75% corrupt, said another. No, the king is 95% corrupt! Oh, snap! Brilliant dialogue!
I was expecting a major challenge at the end, like in Epic War. There wasn't one.
This would probably be balanced better if it only kept your best score for any individual level rather than letting you keep adding up.
