That's nothing. I survived 38. You need 40. blah. I would have made it if my maze sucked a little more so the creeps could get through without taking damage, and thus not split. Hmm. That's an idea...
Snaps is a pain in the neck - so much micromanagement just to clear the ground to make a maze, and then to spend all that money in time, while still not letting the creeps escape... gah.
Having to control a game on the left and right with my right hand and a game on the right with my left hand... well, it gives the old corpus callosum a workout!
If you kill corruptor while disconnected, you don't get the medium badge. Be sure you're green before landing the killing blow!
And you need to be exactly beginner... that's a bit lame too.
The music reminds me of part of Final Fantasy 9... And the backgrounds and 'story', not what I was expecting given part 1. But hey, the puzzles are the same. And harder. Still some out-of-order issues. 5/5
This is a totally different game than the previous epic war games, and FAR better for the differences. I don't know how good it actually is, but I like it a lot better.
please make the 'call multiple waves' command less easy to accidentally invoke. One misclick while getting angry in advance, and there went a marathon run, as I got smothered by five or so simultaneous waves... and it had been going so well up to then, too.
unnecessary, I'd say this is a very good rules mod/expansion pack to the original game. The alterations were subtle mechanically but substantial in effect on strategy and replayability. It's also a little too soon to call it a 'series', isn't it?
Oh geez. So I'm on Holy Tears, and I decide I'd like my platform to be a little more stable. So I spew at the top of one. It looks solid. I jump onto it, settle, decide how to make my next move... but WHOOSH I slide straight through the middle of this seemingly solid platform!
I didn't cause that accident. The idiotic engineer who decided to put the traffic light half a mile from the intersection caused the accident, and the drivers who don't look where the heck they're going. These are obviously unregulated intersections, so use caution!
Why doesn't this want to load file:// urls? it seems like it really ought to be able to run them off your HD. I checked that I formatted it correctly by aiming the web browser at the very same URL I put in. --- In that vein, why doesn't it check that the MP3 can be loaded before issuing instructions?
I finished chapter 1, but when I left the game and came back I had to start over. I can't find the 'chapter select' using the method given in the instructions - pressing space during a fight only brings up the controls, and out of a fight just skips the cutscene. --- aside from these technical issues, I like it.
The upgrade interface is horrible because you don't know what the base statistic is. Tell us what it is right now and what it'll be after the upgrade. NOT the difference from base that you have right now and the difference from base that you'll have right after the upgrade. The rest of the difficulty is just understanding how to work with the awkward gun, but that's a legitimate part of the game.
It's very silly that you can instantaneously recycle basic structures at 100% efficiency. That, plus the high effectiveness of basic lasers, makes this game a little... abusable.
I can beat the ace on levels 46,48, and 72. It comes up blue, which isn't even in the key. :) Ooh, yeah. Also, even though I don't need it, having a colorblind option is made of class. Though it seems to me a little hard to make out. Perhaps just having a strong brightness scaling would be better? You only need 4 distinct levels.
