I had so much trouble getting my last guest (a little girl) to leave the top foor (the only other place she went was the attic) so I had to scare her to death.
Aside from a few story missions that were unbeatable until I upgraded one of my units to a new "type" (the black knight was basically impossible until I added an assassin, then he was a cake walk) it was alright. A few late-game hats were also "but that's worse or no better than that other hat." E.g. there are two hats for +15% A.Speed and two hats for +N max damage. The first grants a +3 the later one (the last hat I got) was a +1.
Hey, what do you know, I was right. It's Reincarnation Minigame #12: We're Making a Full Game (No Really!)
And its as short and as terrible as ever. :|
I've had the last customer in the store, after a typically long wait times at the register, finally decide to grab a CD, then upon reaching the empty register wait about 3 seconds, and then leave citing "long wait times."
I'm not seeing any improvement over the last game except the ability to restart in the middle and not have to play the early levels over again. However, there's a noticable lack in the UI ("a blue thing with a T...what the hell does that do?" "Oh, ok." "OH, so THERE'S the tooltip list I've been lacking." "Now how many of these 'Change to Earth' things do I have? Two? Please be two...DAMN")
The game is still as luck based as ever.
Had an engineer that could not path, as there were no more buildings for him to destroy. Well, there were two bastions, but for some reason he just sat in the middle of the map, flickering. He stopped flickering, but didn't move when I clicked the calendar.
Hardcore mode needs to be explained, it took me four attempts on level 1 to figure out what I was doing wrong.
Also, the snake needs to move like in Oroboros: that is, each segment follows the last, otherwise it is very difficult to avoid enemies in tight spaces with such a long tail: the end never moves!
