And why does the third climbing training require that I use the UP key to have the duck climb to a higher location on the screen? The last two did this automatically.
Oh, and why can't my superswimming duck drop into the water and zoom ahead of the ducks who are better at flying (unless the race demands that they jump off into the water, in which case, why can't my superflying duck just fly across?)
I'm disappointed that in order to win any race you need to have the associated stats maxed out. Not almost-maxed, absolutely positively 100% all the way there, not a pixel less, MAXED.
The last Duck Life was better, even the Animal Racing is better than this. :\
Once you have a speed of 500, stamina doesn't matter. You run so fast that even a 800m race doesn't require stamina to get first place. Likewise a reaction of 500 means you win 100m races before anyone else starts.
I just won an 800 meter race with 8 jumps with stamina and agility as my lowest stats. Second place was a rabbit who had high agility and high reaction (but not as high as mine); it wasn't even a close second (it'd have taken another 200 meters with 2 more jumps for him to have tied).
Ok, either the bullets only hit right exactly where you click, or the gun fires slower than the animation and sounds would indicate. Firing 10 shots "behind" a buzzard and it doesn't take any damage, but the next 2 (clicking in the same spot) kill it.
WTH?
Maybe if you didn't have to click ON zombies to kill them. Bullets travel in strait lines, if I miss the zombie and click a little in front or a little behind it, the shot should still hit the target.
The hell? Going rogue? But all that does is let me share the army I used against the last NPC with the world. There's absolutely no way to customize my army into something interesting prior to sharing it!
The three lives thing is dumb. Everyone will eventually lose three times before completing the game. It's just an excuse to keep you from actually making money. Also, seriously, swarmer, a building that's good against f*ckeverything. Like raiders, the anti-building unit, gets killed before ever making it TO the building!
So is it me, or is every unit "good against [masses of, individual] lighter units"? Are there NO fast-spawning units that are good against *armored units*?
I'm so confused. The game is half in English, half in German (despite having clicked English at the start), and none of the controls do what's expected (it says G for gas mask, and when I encountered some gas and hit G, nothing happened and I still died. Do I not have a gas mask?)
Nice idea, fairly good execution, but...
Chat doesn't work most of the time (checked just now, to find it working for the first time since I started playing).
No description of the Jealousy stat. Anywhere.
Colosseum opponents' stats are mushed together and unreadable (not to mention completely useless). Eg. "1134.5k17.2k" Is that "level 11 and 34.5k or level 1 and 134.5k?" (ignoring the fact that opponent rank is automatically within some range of my own, so it's pointless information; even more useless is my _opponent's change in ranking_ since--mine, his?--last login. HP, MP, and Elemental type would all be much more informative).
Objects are removed from the screen too soon such that non-moving vehicles only a few pixels off screen don't cause cars driving along the road to crash into them.
The mechanics of this game aren't well thought out, IMO. Units only attack directly across (and can hit the commander even if there are still units in play) and then shifting left when things die, rather than allowing the attack (or defender, one or the other) to decide what units attack.
Despite the "resistant" upgrade, cops will still stop you if you're going below some threshold of speed (which is the same from the start of the game to the end!) Same with doors. And how fast do you need to be going to get through the last one anyway? I was just at "half" speed (the indicator pointing strait down) and didn't make it. That's my best run so far.
