I got all the way to the orange boxes by luck (seeking helped out in the first thing, then sheild really helped out against the green boxes).
Orange is hard due to the perspective navigation when you're near an edge of the screen, you lose all depth perception and can't tell where your ship is relative to the boxes. I keept trying to jump, but no dice.
Interesting, but even on Medium the game isn't even a challenge. I'm blowing things away without thought and I've yet to take structural damage.
Turrets don't stick around long enough. 15 seconds upgrades to 15.5? What the hell? 15-16 seconds is barely long enough for it to log 4 kills.
Very nifty, though I can beat the AI pretty easily. They don't seem to ever make more than 4 mining drones (and more mining = faster building or support for more repair drones). And I always upgrade refining as soon as possible--gets me more bang for the buck (after I take out an enemy empire, it's still more efficient to mine my depleted asteroid than to harvest theirs!).
Great game, would love to see more drones, maybe even a movable mothership. :)
Use your brain? Excuse me, but the "dragonball powerup" thing when I have it can be dispelled. When they have it and I dispell it IT CAME BACK. He got all the way up to the black sphere and I was still just a dude. He had all the buffs, I had none. He hit me for 26 damage and took me from 50/70 to 24/70. Then I died.
This is so unbalanced it reminds me of Castle Wars.
