How would it be fairer to make the AI *FASTER*?
In Pac-Man the ghosts travel slower than packman when they're blue so that he can catch them.
Here, when everything is the same speed and you're the only ghost left, you *can't ever kill him.*
My gripe is that the ghosts you aren't controlling don't run away well enough when Pac-Man can eat him.
I'm trying to work out why I can't reproduce the rampant success I had a few days ago:

I'm getting over-run by wave 250ish now! Quadrillions of damage from a 100+ laser chain and I die to 26 trillion HP creeps.
I didn't suffer lag (like most people are--the interface is far too overdone, the graphics too high for this level of gameplay anyway) but I did however have difficultly PLAYING the game. Damn suicide cart. It is too much based on chance, I killed the cart once and have no idea how I did it. I of course was out of mana and got a$$ raped by two elite marines and two goliaths just after...
Poison. I like that.
More levels and enemies: eventually. Not being burned out from work (co-op's almost over) doesn't make me inclined to write XML pseudocode (yes, XML levels! I spent 2 weeks making just that work, means I don't need to recompile or reupload ANYTHING to add new content. Brilliant, isn't it?). Upgrade opportunities between levels are planned when there are enough levels to support it--6 probably.
Thanks for all the feedback, it really helps when people can identify and explain why they don't like a game. :)
You can win the tic-tac-toe. corner, oposite, third, win.
As for the status symbol it's always current population * 10. Makes it neigh impossible to attain.

I was enjoying it up until my second game when it slowed down so much that my shots were being delayed more than they should have. Then I learned that bombs blow up powerups too, wtf. Oh, and I never got a powerup that game, they decided to spawn way way late.
I'd also like to know what each powerup does before I get it, some kind of list.
At first I didn't think this would be any good, but my second try I hit the all time high tables here (#8 as of this writing), which at 13586 isn't all that impressive, but certainly a highlight.
As with rage303 I'm already shaking a little. Getting an adrenaline rush like this is something games should strive for.
No strategies yet. I've only seen one vid on YouTube for this version and the guy sells towers like crazy to get whole swarms (four to eight levels of creeps) to move back and forth through the maze.
