So this game basically steals everything from Candy Crush Saga, but executes all if it worse. No click-and-drag for moving candies, music repeats in a poorly cut 15-second loop, no super candies when you get more than 3 in a row, and there are no special layouts or goals for the player to try to reach.
This is nothing short of a giant leap back from the original Bejeweled game, it is a leap back that not only is backwards from the 2001 graphics, sound, and gameplay of the PopCap classic, but also far enough to the side that it also lands just outside the boarders of the magical land of Copyright Infringement of the 2012 game by King Games that it falls so drastically short of in every imaginable aspect.
One can only assume that this game intends to simply get clicks by appearing to be Candy Crush. I'm sorry to *crush* Guuby's dreams, but I expect that this game will not remain on Kongregate long enough to reach even 50 plays. I apologize for the pun, I couldn't help it.
I finally found a use for programmable macros on my mouse. At 500 clicks per second, the game's ability to recognize the clicks is the only limiting factor in how fast I mine :D
awesome and addicting. I beat the 2000 ship achievement, but have come back to play more today anyways! I do feel a grating dissatisfaction when I see multiple of the same booster active at once, though.
Great basis for a game, but needs more depth. Once the blimps have been serviced, it would be nice to be able to get them off the map. There just isn't much as far as an objective in the game. Levels and a "story" mode would certainly help.
Yah, actually English is not perfect in the game so any suggestions are welcomed. People, please don't write something like "the spelling in this game is bad" - just point out a couple of texts to be fixed instead to make your comment helpful!
Very fun, but still a little glitchy. I've had online battles where 1) I took no damage from attacks, and 2) the enemy killed me before my first turn.
Other than the few little issues, the game is very fun. I'd like to see more people online playing it.
definitely not the greatest game... it's a shop management game minus setting prices, buying resources, and in the owner's sense "managing" the shop... yet it somehow holds my interest. Fascinating. Maybe it's the music.
i would like to be able to pause with the space bar instead of the P key... other than that, it's a great game. I don't see much new compared to the first one, though, so 4/5
The game lags a bit... mostly on the level select screen, oddly enough. It would be nice to be able to turn the cursor effect off- that's probably what's causing it.
Upgrading is more of "Upgrade Sticks" than "Upgrade Trees" but it still manages to bring enough diversity to allow for various play styles. The game as a whole is quite straight forward, no real progressing plot or explanation of who the enemies are or even who your allies are and why they are fighting, but in the end, most people just skip that stuff anyways.
If you make a sequel, all you really need to do is expand to an equipment market style upgrade system instead of (or as well as) the upgrade tree style, then add in some story.
Over-all quite entertaining.
I like idle games, but this one just falls short on content and entertainment. Of course, I take it that it used to have more, but was just a walking copyright infringement. As someone who has had his intellectual property stolen before, I know what a scumbag move that is to do, so 1/5.
