hint: you can't reduce the Ghost Ship's AP, so just go for hull shots. 1 hull shot should do more damage than 2 quick shots, but you should be able to take the ship down with mostly quick shots if you're fully upgraded.
Great game overall. There is tons you can expand with when you make a sequel (such as split path upgrades, more spells, different game modes, etc). An option to turn off the mouse screen scrolling would be nice. I always use the WASD and the mouse can just make it more difficult.
all the premium content is a bit annoying... I know you have to pay for it some way but there are 4 premium content buttons just on the map page. It's hard to have fun playing a game that keeps shoving in your face the fact that you could be having more fun if you paid.
i agree that the auto-scrolling is annoying, but on paper I will admit that it meets the needed function of the game perfectly: you can see your troops to time your crate drops best when you mouse over your available drops, and you see the front lines the rest of the time so you know how the battle is going. I agree that there is no real NEED for any other camera movement, but it just doesn't work for some reason.
wonderful, but it was short. A sequel would be great, possibly one where you have to go back multiple times with more information each time. Also, you could do more than the simple fire/water scenario. I that this game was all about story, but it seemed like it focused COMPLETELY on story and almost none on gameplay difficulty or complexity.
Music was absolutely great, really set the tone for the game. There were a few times where it would just stop in times where it didn't make sense, but the overall music tone was perfect. It was just the ques that were off.
3/5. Would be more enjoyable if there weren't so many typos/ poorly spaced text. Not sure what MP Levels are... no accessible instructions in-game once you get going... not sure what the use of the "School" is... a lot of weirdness with the skills, such as Speed Boost which only seems to add 1 Speed per level, not 4 as it claims.
Basically, it's a great game and I'm going to keep playing it because it's hella fun. But it seems like a lot of things have been overlooked as though it was a rush job. I like BowWow's suggestion, but I think there are also some very basic and mundane things that could be fixed to make the game more enjoyable.
I get TONS of lag on the hippos and horseplay level, even on low quality. It's not my computer. It keeps me from being able to escape from the hippos and revive when I die.
Fun and humorous game, but not much to the mechanics or upgrades. It would be nice if there was a bit more to it... I think adding more options to upgrades would to it.
game was very challenging and fun, but I was able to beat the last level while still stuck at some of the "easier" levels. More upgrades would be nice in the sequel (yes, we all want one!), a tech tree would be preferable.
1/5. As a soldier myself, I'm not going to play a game about shooting US troops. Also, I did go through the first 2 levels... and the game mechanics are very simplistic and unimaginative.
We tried to show modern political problems from another's side point of view. And in a humorous way, so nobody's feelings would be hurt. Battlefield 3 also permits you to shoot US troops, so, please, do not take this fact to heart.
First 3-4 levels only give you 2 basic weapons, and act as a tutorial, so do not expect anything extraordinary from them. The most interesting part begins in the second part of the game, when you have enough weapons and strong enemies to fight with.
There are a few stats that I would like to be able to see on my character, such as Crit Multiplier, Cast Chance, and Magic Attack. I hate having to go through and manually add those things up.
