Interesting concept, but letting the cannon auto-fire instead of having to mash your mouse would've been nice. It also overheats WAY too fast. The waves also pick up REALLY fast, meaning that you have to grind a lot for cash and upgrades. Not good.
Play as the Undead. When you start getting upgrades you can just spam Scouts and win with no troubles. They have vampiric touch and leave poison on death.
I don't think I need to comment on the presentation or the story because that's been done to death. As far as the actual game is concerned, the jumping controls aren't tight enough. It can make some sections very frustrating.
It is really tough to line up shots. Sometimes you think you have it right on but the arrow seems to miss completely. It would be much better if the enemies and player moved together in specific lanes, making it easier to line up shots.
Promising, but as the others said it has problems. The story is a total rip-off of Dead Space, Event Horizon, etc. Not a HUGE problem for a flash game though. What is a problem, however, is the amount of strange features (or are they bugs?). Damage and shield upgrades seem to do nothing. Weapon upgrades are far too sparse. You can't shoot above yourself or in any other direction. You can't jump down.
With more tweaking this could be a classic, but as it stands, it is merely average.
Pretty awful. Combat is impossible and you're pretty much forced to take hits. Enemies take far too many hits to bring down. You can't aim directly up or down with the gunner. Just.. very bad game overall.
An extremely poor tutorial leaves you knowing what to do.. but not what strings you're supposed to be passing? Does it say it anywhere on the screen at all? Anywhere?
Very repetitive and boring. And like the other guy asked, do the upgrades even help? It always takes one shot to kill the regular enemies it seems. Buying building upgrades does not refill your HP. Eventually it gets to a point where the enemies suddenly start coming so fast it is impossible to defend yourself.
You shouldn't have to pay to play these flash games, Kong. Stop trying to squeeze money out of us. If there's one thing gamers won't pay for it's flash games because there's tons of other sites and games out there for FREE.
If you can't even be bothered to spell check your game, then why should we want to play it? It's the easiest thing to do and if you're too lazy to do THAT then the game itself must be a lazy effort.
You have all these buttons on the keyboard and yet you choose to make left + right as hover? That's a poor design choice. The only reason to do that is to purposefully make the game more difficult.
Less like tower defense and more like bumper cars. The spots for towers are placed so poorly that actually defending yourself is impossible. Your base will get hit, it's just a matter of time.
