Attacking crew tends to weaken AP fairly well and makes it easier to board the target ship. Attacking hull hits the hp of the other ship most directly, doing the most damage. Attacking sails does the most damage to AP but little real damage.
rather stuck on the second planet, can't beat the minion's ghost-type for anything. Drain Life + all my attacks are weak against it... out of money for revive waters and can't take him even with my team at full health...
As far as making money, you can't really expect to make a living off a single idle game, but it should help out a bit. Maybe add a 12 hour limit to idle time, requiring a page refresh (and thus more ad-loads, and thus more revenue) after 12 hours? Also, everyone with Adblock should consider turning it off for favorite games, you know, these developers could use it.
KDXX - the semi-randomness isn't huge, and if you're ignoring coins you should be able to make it to the one place you can never NOT get hit (which is, conveniently, located just past the achievement) about half the time without getting hit before then. With triple-jump and maxed sword I'm now hitting it around 95% of the time and I'm not really good at these kinds of running games...
When I make a shot that pops more than 10 bubbles, I lose a ball, but occasionally I don't pop any bubbles and don't lose a ball. I can't figure it out. I think it's actually pseudo random and only has a higher chance to drop a ball when you miss...
ugh, intro to armor T_T I keep running my mouse off the screen trying to spin the orb further to get at a place where a bullet can actually get through.
Developer, have you considered adding the Kongregate API? You could have it report the number of endings the player has unlocked, and maybe separately report each ending... I could smell badges.
@DJkramarboi - reading the description, it would seem you have to explore to trigger the ship arriving. Just checking the beacon every day won't do it. *goes exploring*
Maybe a "hardcore" option for those of us who thought the game was scarier and better without the map and power pills? I like having the pills, but it breaks the horror aspect pretty bad when you're capable of hunting the ghosts...
andkamen - younger characters typically gain more stats, and remember that your stats for leveling up are based on your current age modifier... so if you want a character with really high luck, say, start as a 10 year old dwarf since they gain the most luck per level.
@domataos - there's a tutorial? I'm assuming mine broke when the game crashed once while I was just starting. I'm stuck on the quest where you have to talk to the secretary at the Knights' Academy. No amount of clicking on everything I can find is giving me an option to do so...
Wow. I 5/5'ed for the game and the message, but favorited for the hilarious comments. Can I favorite a entire developer? *looks for the button* I guess being a fan is close enough.
@dap300 - it is normal. The message is one of love and understanding, no matter who the couple is.
developer - you are rather brave and creative and unique. Whether you be straight or gay, I wish you the best.
Kongregate - Giving this game a challenge - on Valentine's Day, no less - is even braver. An individual standing up for rights is one thing, but a company that must be careful with their messages and watch their bottom line taking that risk for what they believe in is amazing in this day and age. Kudos.
Signed,
a straight man who doesn't understand why that should matter.
so it's a demo, so what? Rate it on its own features, not just the fact that it's a demo. Devs have to eat, if they want to release a FREE demo to give you a chance to try their game out without buying it, that's doing you a FAVOR. If you decide not to buy it, fine. That doesn't mean the demo is worth a 1/5 rating. If you're that offended by a demo for whatever reason, just don't play it.
Oh you. :3
