ehhh... I really like the game, but it's not really a zombie game when my problem is getting gunned down by squads of enemy assault rifles. Maybe if I were supposed to be the zombie. Also, even really early game zombies survive direct hits from the rocket launcher. It's more a "superhumans" game where the player is the last normal human left in a world where everyone else kills normals on sight with their perfectly-accurate can-never-miss assault rifles and laughs off bazooka rounds to the face.
I'm not saying it's a bad game, just that I clicked it hoping for a zombie and it doesn't play anything like a zombie game. Do the zombies even HAVE melee attacks? I've only ever been hit in melee by the dogs - the zombies throw stuff and shoot me.
um, when we earn a trophy (that's also called an achievement) maybe it should give us a trophy to spend in the store, instead of only the gold trophies from missions. That would both give them a use and stop confusing me, since they're BOTH gold trophies but only one can be spent...
oh wow... um... it takes a ton of concentration, but you can use 2-player mode to blow stuff up solo..... I used my keyboard ship to do time slowing and only occasionally attacked it with, while using my mouse ship to battle the bad guys....
@tylen01: I think you mean "note". If you're going to be a Grammar Cop, I suggest you look first to yourself. Additionally, you left out some quotes, an apostrophe, and added an extra d. That first period should probably be a colon.
Plz to not be Grammer Police if u no haz gud grammer kthx.
can someone who completed the plates PM me the thing at the end? I didn't get them all and while I liked the game almost as much as the first, I really don't want to go back for them. Pretty sure I figured out the first word, but the second eludes me.
ye gods, if only the game was more responsive... I want to find whatever makes my computer suck so badly at rendering Flash when it runs everything else so well and choke it. It feels like the game could be fun if it wasn't buried under controls that bug out at the worst times.
since the dev reads the comments, I'd like to suggest allowing a few more of the games to be playable with the mouse or keyboard both. I'd really love if High/Low allowed the up and down keys, or if snail catching had a way to play with skill instead of luck by moving the mouse to catch them (presently the bucket just doesn't move fast enough to get a 35+ combo off skill, just got to keep trying and hope you get lucky). Obviously Whack-a-Seal couldn't really use the keyboard, but a lot of the games that are one-or-the-other now could be either-or if you let them.
yeah, losing all my items really sucked. I'm not sure I'll keep playing if I lose everything on every time I close the game. Also, early on house upgrades are awesome. The boosted money per bar fill is really helpful.
bug report link doesn't seem to be working, just moves me to the top of the screen. When an enemy monster takes poison damage that lowers them below 0 hp, it screws the battle up entirely. I'm unable to use skills and the enemy monster continues taking poison damage into the negatives. They keep falling until it wears off, and the only way to finish the fight is to wait while he slowly regenerates, sometimes up to a thousand hp, until he gets above 0 again and then hit him one more time.
What might make this game even more amazing is the ability to use the heroic characters you meet in story mode in the maps. The Baroness, the Warden, the Princess could all be made into units that you could drop once as a reaction - since building a new tower doesn't spawn a unit immediately, you don't really have a way to react. So you put the Baroness (heroic Knight) in front of the enemies while you build towers, have her buy some time. Her health bar would never replenish, and instead of a tower point she'd just center on where you clicked - once she dies, that's it for the map. Use each hero once per map, I'd think. Would fill in the hole nicely where other TDs have "spells" the player can throw.
Would be nice if you could earn more skill points, maybe from the achievements or getting three stars on a level. Just getting a skill point per level doesn't carry the feel of the RPG original.
some of the levels are just too hard without the ability to zoom out and see the map. Trying to scroll around while the computer doesn't have to is just ridiculous.
is it supposed to take all your money and items when you replay an old level? Getting the side-missions is pretty tough when I'm starting with just the pistol and a couple of clips.
Yeah, definitely.. it is coming in the iPhone version first, then it will also coming to Flash later with a whole new set of maps.
