Oh, wow. I got to the end of the game, I think. The last boss kills you in one hit. Guess how I found that out? Keys didn't pick up even though I was hitting them.
mmhmm - it fails to recognize keys during boss fights and the archers seem to shoot arrows of immortality. This is horrible. And fast moving enemies have blurred text... got to slow them or slash them. I save my rage for unreadable enemies instead of major situations, and get used to repairing after every perfect level because the bosses aren't beatable.
@automatron maybe you're the only one who can see his sheet. I've not seen any reference to Dave in the game yet. No profile, no locker, people ignore him (you can even ask him about that) or don't notice him or don't even know who he is... Yeah, I'm liking the ghost explanation. Will update if I find more proof OR find something to disprove it with. (I'm still not far through the game)
Beren - turn the level around to the side with no moonrock, then wait for them to stand where the rock would be and flip the level back to the side with the rock.
Tikikala - not only do your +% stuff work better when you match large groups, but matching 4+ heals you AND doesn't cost you a turn, so it'll be longer before the enemy attacks you again.
only complaints (and I complain about everything) is that the 100 fast-kill is really hard to get when the lag and vision impairment from the 5-star enrage (70 or 75 kills) pops up, and many of the zombies look so much alike that the "only kill the target" achievement is really hard too. Basically, I'm just repeatedly trying those two until I get lucky. Otherwise, great game.
why MUST we run straight to the vehicles and jump in them? I can't get the 50 headshots in one level achievement because around 40 or so I run a zombie over and have to try again. Also, I can't get all the antidotes because I'll run toward one and then my character will run away from it to get a car instead.
uh, my artillery truck clipped inside a wall... and when I clicked a different to switch, fired and died. I can't believe I saved all game for something that committed suicide on my first time using it. I even maxed its level with saved stars.... AND now I have to redo the mission for the gold medal! I figured you got units back after the mission - nope. Glad to know he's got the damage output to one-shot himself, though.
falling is a bit too random, I think. I was afraid of losing the big health chunk for falling, so I trained nothing but agility for 3 races straight. got tot he last race of the season in second place, fell, there goes my health AND my season. Try again...
last level is basically impossible, fear on the bottom path sends them running straight for the gems even faster, no way to stop the ninja champion if he spawns on bottom - except maybe having max mana and max meteor skill. I don't know, since the best way to handle them is usually fear and freeze on crypts. Maybe I'll eventually grind to max all skills and try again, but until then, one more badge I can't earn.
I think my favorite strategy is gonna be splitting the party. Get the priestess's passive "when you kill you heal" ability and let the mage solo one path while the other 4 handle the other :D the priestess will keep her healed as she bombs stuff. Will post again when I see how well it works, or if it's even possible.
I'd love to know why at the end of level 13 it has a "oh here no puzzle no platform just guess" section. Most of the levels can only be beaten by losing first. This isn't a test of skill or problem-solving ability, it's a game where you play at random until you win. Might as well play guess-a-number-between-one-and-a-million with your kids or little siblings.
on level 28 I got a Level Fail... then a big smiley with a huge sweatdrop jumped on screen and changed it to a complete <3 I hit the exit so fast I fell off the level before it noticed I won.... and it fixed it!
some kind of system for detecting large masses is a must. I can't collect a single rock without being trapped in an offscreen planet's gravity field and pulled in despite holding the other direction.
