Sad ... this game looks like it could be kinda fun if the controlls actually worked. There were a few times where it seemed like the buttons I was pressing actually made something happen, but it could have just been a coincidence.
This is a horrible game for the perfectionist, especially when there seems to be no easy way to squeeze out every millisecond before blocking a passage way. Add a "step forward" button/key, and even a "step backwards" for those annoying missteps in long levels, and you have a truly great game here. I don't know how many weird looks I received trying to double-tap the spacebar as fast as I could to get the little guy ONNE inch closer before turning him around.
The game is very fun, but as is, also very frustrating.
what the hell is wrong with the controls? any button i push gets "stuck" and i keep moving in that direction or jumping randomly until i hit that same key three or four times, then another key gets locked on. this would be fun if i could actually control what's going on...
We have new skills with shortcut keys, but you couldn't do anything for the volleys? It's *so annoying* to hunt for buttons to click in the middle of a fight, then move the mouse back up to where I want to shoot...
Nice concept, a little difficult sometimes to see which tiles are which but fun to play.
One thing though, said over and over and over....
EVERY GAME NEEDS A MUTE BUTTON
nice game, could be truly great with a little bit of polish. showing steps as they are executed, as people have said, level select with saves and maybe "repeat the level to better your score" would be awesome. levels up to 10 weren't that challenging, but more like the last few would be cool as well.
good job!
Honestly, point penalty for pausing? While it's an original idea, I don't think it's a great one, as someone who plays while working/chatting/eating/whatever, pause should be a given.
Other than that, fun little game, but seriously, what were you thinking? If nothing else, an automatic pause between "levels" at the auto-accelerate points would be nice...
Wow, these comments (and ratings) are ridiculous. I think it's kinda nice to be able to play rs and have kong chat in the same screen. There are other multiplayer games on here, ones with their own sites and users and everything, but RS is just the game everyone loves to hate.
Not to mention, this is the full game, much better than armor games sending over games that are stripped of features unless you go over to their site (and then Kong giving those stupid games badges and challenges...). As RPGs and MMORPGs go, RS is easily one of the best-designed and kept up games this side of WoW.
