@ Anyone asking for a walkthrough below, I found the comments in this blog post to be very helpful: https://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=4568527495646751209&postID=5140611233288757148
Loved the game btw!
What bothers me most with this game is that the champion bar at the bottom keeps disappearing every couple of minutes. Yes, I can it back after I refresh, but then I am set back several zones as the game apparently does not save after each. 5 steps forward and 3 back.. again and again..
It would be nice if the devs could tell us how (at a high level) this game actually differs from CotLI, of which I got bored quite a while ago already. Otherwise it is a little difficult to become motivated to give this game a try.
Here's a brief What's the Difference. https://www.kongregate.com/forums/1042099-idle-champions-of-the-forgotten-realms/topics/1815951-whats-the-difference-crusaders-and-idle-champions You can ask questions if you want more details. :)
I probably missed this in the tutorial, but what is stamina good for? I am guessing it's the green bar below the mining popup, but I cannot seem to figure out how to spend any of it.
My laptop seems to become quite hot when running this game. Perhaps consider adding some options to reduce power consumption, e.g. to not display all the click results in polygon.
I would kind of like to see what my current drop rate is for the various resources, e.g. by hovering over them with the mouse. I kind of assume that higher waves give higher drop rates, but have no idea how much.
Could somebody help me understand how I get back to the main branch after completing an optional side dungeon? I cannot seem to find any other steps down besides that dungeon.
Nice. One suggestion could be to add some kind of progress indicator. This in particular as it seems to me that when I fail a level I start again elsewhere.
I realize this is an older game, but I just rediscovered it after not playing for about a year. This time I for some reason had lots of auto steps, which (until they ran out) made this into a much more interesting game.
For this game to sustain my interest, I believe it needs some element of strategy. Just one example, but with the drone factory somebody suggested below, the game could require manual placement, which may then lead to interesting trade-offs.
