The only things I have issues with on this game are that you have to mouse over the action icons to use them (when this also means you will move in that direction), and the fact that no matter how often you press the mouse button to try and eat smaller microbes, it rarely works when you want it to. 3/5 for now though...
This is the perfect example of every RPG player's worst nightmare come true... although I've got to say it would be better with a few d20's tossed in. ;)
Already up to level 23 so far, and I have to say that this game is definitely challenging. In an odd way it reminds me of trying to read "rubber band messages" back in grade school without stretching out the rubber band. 4/5 for doing something new that gets me thinking. ;)
The only thing I would love to see for this one is more money when you pass the start space. $300 is nowhere near enough to keep the game going. 3/5 for now.
It's an OK game.... but it gets boring rather quick for me. There's very little strategy in it, which is probably why. Going back and forth swinging away just isn't enough to hook me, no matter how many add-ons you can buy. Well made none the less though for what it is.... 3/5
Truly an insane and pointless game, with a soundtrack that in and of itself frustrates me.....2/5 for the game itself, and 5/5 for frustrating me as advertised.
The only level that's too hard is the final level. I'm lucky to even get the end guy down to below 100k hit points.... it's just insane in terms of how overly powerful the boss is.
All in all, a really good game.. The only things that I have noticed that could use a bit of tweaking are that the upgrade and new soldier buttons get in the way of troop movements, and trenches don't seem to do anything useful. If anything, they managed to get my guys killed faster. Also, a more defined goal would be helpful, as simply killing Germans over and over isn't really enough for me personally... Maybe adding a new battlefield every 100 kills, etc. would help shake things up a bit. 3/5 for now, with a very likely 5/5 to come... keep up the good work! ;)
Hmm... having just finished this "game", I understand why so many people are calling it a movie. While I love the story line, and back plot, this really isn't a game. It does have a ton of potential though, and for that, I gave it a 3/5. Just be sure on the next try to do two things, and you could have an award winner: 1) make the missions more challenging, and 2) get a fluent English speaker to proof read for you.
Finally made it through the whole game, and I have to say it was really enjoyable. Easy to learn, quick to master, and very repeatable in it's own right. My only things about it are that upgrades would be a great touch for a sequel, as would a "take back move" ability. That, and toss in more than ten levels. ;)
Hmmm.. only getting to 13k on my second try, I'd have to say I'll be playing this one alot more often. I really love being taken back to the old school 3-d tank game feel too..... ahhh the good old days. ;)
I have to say, that if this game didn't offer much else, the soundtrack is incredible, and the ability to change songs at will is always nice too. Finally somebody understands that the last thing you really need when trying to kill things is more noise... keep it flowing, and you'll do better every time. ;)
While this game has alot of potential, and actually can be fun for a while, all you have to do to kill it is to simply keep going back and beating the same levels over and over so you can max out everything. I'm only on battle 6 right now, and already have over half my units maxed out, plus almost all of my arrows maxed. To make things a bit more even, they need to make the level stop somehow after reaching the "perfect score". Also, it wouldn't hurt any to at least have a different background for each battle. 3/5 for now.
As an afterthought, in case anyone thinks I was complaining due to not finishing.... I still finished with 54 lives, having saved over 150 people... and it STILL sucks! lol
This game is horrible. It's far too hard for what it is, and the end boss drops people that are too small to really see until it's already too late. 2/5
