This game is far from being hidden treasure.... Unless of course "treasure" has become some new fad word like phat, bad, or tubular did. There's no way to make the dog move faster than a snail's pace, you don't get larger or more powerful as you eat the other dogs, and there's really no point to the game at all. Decently made, despite all of that, I suppose..... 2/5
The only thing I would really love to see for this gae is some sort of a directional arrow for once the boss comes on. I had to run off and rebuild my tank some, only to realize that I couldn't find my way back to the boss..... NOT cool. Heck, I'd even settle for a "Grid = X,Y" display so you can at least figure out where you were. Aside from that though, this game is a HUGE improvement over the original. 4/5
While I could complain about the physics of load over run, or the tensile and sheer strengths of the materials involved, etc., etc.... the only thing that the GAME really needs, is the ability to recognize when you are done with the level and move onto the next, without you needing to go back through the design screen, to the main menu. You should just automatically move on. 3/5 for a good idea, with poor implementation.
My biggest issue with this game, aside from Madagascar shutting down way too quick no matter what gets done, is that a disease with no outward symptoms is capable of causing widespread panic and shutting down all the airports, etc. around the world without any fatalities, etc. Having that happen is far less likely than a bad outbreak of the flu in some backwater town in middle America causing a global breakdown of transportation. 3/5 for now.. but good game otherwise.
In hindsight, this game series really needs a level save feature as well. It's a little odd that you have to keep starting from scratch every single time.
This one seems to be nearly impossible to beat. You have to do everything JUST RIGHT, or else you have to start from scratch. On the first one you could reasonably beat most levels... on this one, even getting past the first two or three is a chore and a half.
Decent idea for a game, but the swinging is too slow, and you need to be able to move up and down your rope/grappler as well. There also needs to be an actual point to the game too... a logical end or goal. 3/5
Interesting game idea... but the graphics and sounds really remind me of the good old original Nintendo games.... which isn't really a plus, despite my still owning one.
Great game in it's own right, however as others have said, it can be a bit tough to see where you are and what you're doing. Part of this comes from being so bland against such a vibrant backdrop... and part comes from how the explosions work out to completely obscure not only you, but your enemies as well. 3/5 for now, but with a 5/5 potential.
Not sure what there is to say about this game, as the idea is interesting.. however, the headache inducing flashes and teeny tiny screen/playing area are major minuses in my book. 2/5
Update: Apparently the team killing only happens when using the bow. Also, the Okinawa level has a glitch that allows you to occasionally fall through the "floor" on the right side of the bottom level, that resets you to the center platform.
There are really only two things that are keeping this game from being a full 5 star game, IMO: 1) The jumping physics need to be tuned up a bit, as the "floating" and double jumping to get everywhere is a bit annoying, and 2) You shouldn't have to worry about killing your own team member every time you try attacking the enemy who's on the other side of them (unless of course they start counting as a kill..lol). 3/5 for now, but good game over all. ;)
This game REALLY needs to let you climb up the rope as an alternate way to get around. Other than that, it has fair graphics, a decent looped song, and has the potential to be a nice little puzzler. 3/5
The graphics and concept are both excellent for a game of this type, and although it was a bit short and relatively easy, it was very well done over all. 4/5
This game is well made in terms of graphics and physics... however as others have pointed out, there needs to be some form of pointer or marker so that we aren't "swimming" blindly. The music is also a bit of an oddity, but doesn't really distract you from playing, which is good. 3/5 for now.
1873 pixels restored my first try.... not a bad little game all in all, although I would have liked to see something in game that would explain how to use the other colors in a way that was a little more clear than "you'll figure it out". 3/5
This game has alot of potential, however it seems like there should be music, when there isn't any (hence the blue bars in the top right corner). Also, like I'm sure 1,000 other people have already said, this game needs a save feature, or level selection feature BADLY.
