@vtech15 Join the club, we all lose them all the time because of tourney errors. Furthermore, you can't just "fix" coding that is causing it to screw up. Also, they don't read comments, which makes both of these comments pointless.
@onnetje7 You're probably in IE. IE is known for sticky keys, if you hit the right arrow key again, you'll probably undo the sticky key and be able to control it, rather than counteract it with the left.
@Dumbasa That's a bad idea because if you do that, you'll only have 100 ammo and you need to start on 14-16 to regain. I started on 16 and had 800 ammo by 21, which is well over enough to beat the boss if you are able to collect the ammo.
To be honest, the 20-combo hard badge isn't that bad... you fight a boss, and spam slambomb on him since stun strike pushes him away... you get to "epic", spam that until x20, then teleport to get 'godlike' then you're good.
I wish there was selective targeting. It's painfully annoying to watch one insanely powerful unit destroy my entire base while they attack the units that deal little to no damage.
Just as a guide, on Challenge Mode, what happens with each difficulty increase:
Balance game: Bar becomes narrower, ball becomes "heavier" or in other words the bar is more sensitive.
Semi-circle arrow game: More arrows come at one time, take less time to start coming at you
Horizontal-arrow avoidance game: More arrows at one time, arrows go faster
10-second grab circles game: More circles are one time
Arrow game where you use space to lift: More blocks at one time
Semicircle shift-jump game: More gaps, closer together
I'm honestly am not sure why people are having such difficulty with the hard badge. I don't know if it's me, and I know I'll probably downrated for this, but.. I found it quite easy and got it on my first try, and never went below 50% health. The devs offer you several moments where there are really weak enemies for about 10 seconds, allowing you to heal up dramatically without trouble, so I don't see what the problem is.
After playing the game for a while, it seems the best combo is a few (2-3 for freezing tough units) penguin mages and then a swarm of archers to deal the rest of the damage needed. Once dragons are unlocked, those are always nice too. I followed this basic strategy for the entire game and it worked out.. insanely well.
I wish that you could command your units... they all just charge, but when I want them to retreat I can't, and they get wiped out. This would be especially helpful for units with low HP like the monkey and the penguin.
