@jukka979 50 shards would be insane. Since most people want today's powercreeped rares, they'd probably rather give themselves 5 random rares from the later sets than one specific rare from any set.
@jim_vierling If you think Yog-Sothoth made the game luck based, then frankly you're not very bright. This game is entirely 100% luck-based with no doubt about it.
@Kogawa You get absolutely nothing for this new system except for a few bragging rights. No reason to fret over bragging rights that nobody cares about.
I really really wish that we could just have some form of confirmation before we leave a screen with items leftover, so that we don't leave them behind if we don't mean to. Can't say how many times I've done that.
I feel guilty that I was one of that few that thoroughly enjoyed this game, got the hard badge relatively easily, and didn't mind this game at all. It is, in fact, favorited.
People, since nobody seemed to see the last post by DarkRainyNight, I will post again. TO PLAY THIS GAME, DO THE FOLLOWING: 1) Google "Greasemonkey download" and download it as an add-on or other form of additive to your browser. 2) Go to the following link: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/125484. 3) Hit the little green "Install" button on the top right part of the screen. 4) Play the game, and take screenshots as you complete each achievement, and submit them as missing achievement reports, as the previous instructions will not connect to the Kongregate submissions, so you will have to rely on that. PLEASE PLUS THIS OR DRK'S EARLIER POST SO PEOPLE CAN SEE HOW TO PLAY.
This game should be getting badges, right now. I demand them of thee, rawismojo and greg! I can see the badges now~ Easy Badge- Get Natalie to join your party. Medium Badge- Get the Hammer. Hard Badge- Have all characters reach level 30. Impossible Badge-Beat every boss on Epic difficulty, collect 300 total chests, unlock every pet, deal 3,000,000 damage in one hit (all). I think those would be worthy badges of a game of this caliber, but that's just me.
@SlickSamos Well, the more recent uncommons and commons are just about as equal as rares of the older Tyrant days (See: Atelier, Phantasm, Mite, Transmitter), so you're basically going to see rare-worthy uncommons all around.
@haloronin Considering that most of the newer cards would be classified under "vehicular", and there are some you can't really tell (Show me some of those Xeno and tell me if that's biological or a vehicle), and due to the fact that Heal is difficult enough to use as it is in today's meta, this is unfortunately something that I would have a hard time seeing implemented. If you think it can, though, post it to the Suggestions thread at http://www.kongregate.com/forums/65-tyrant/topics/225035-suggestions?page=48 rather than here.
Okay, apparently you haven't learned this, but commandment #1 of game developing- You shall not spawn enemies on top of the player, or objectives (orbs) over enemies the player cannot defeat. Some of the enemies that spawn randomly have a knack for spawning right where I am, so they make Insane and Hard nigh on impossible when I'm trying to get all the orbs without getting hit.
Two things- 1) You need to check the game for memory issues that will stop the game from being so laggy the later you get. 2) you should rework control points. As it is, I can sit at a control point for 5 or 6 seconds and almost completely capture it only to have an enemy run up to it as I attack them and get the control point (somehow), and that's an issue. If a control point is contested, stop the movement until there's only 1 team on the control point, at which point you begin counting again-if it's the same team as before, continue where you left off, if it's a different team than the one originally taking it, count down as if you're taking the point away from an already captured point.
@markeric222 Stavros: Silver Edge, Soulsteel Mount, Heart of Corruption, Heracles, Orwold's Reckoning, Shuddering Keep, Destruction, Warpway Fortress, EQG? Yeah, that wouldn't be OP at all.
