it's not real clear where you are supposed to go to save lina after she gets kidnapped. the princess talks about going west, but that's the light tower.
like others have said, stealing at higher levels becomes very tedious, with much higher fail rates. I think this has to do with it being harder to steal more valuable stuff, but whatever the case, stealing should just be made so it has a flat 60% chance of success, and just make it 100% if using the dice, since really... who is going to stop trying when they get the dice??
something is wrong with the way pet slimes level up. I have found a half dozen new items for it, without it ever gaining any more damage. stopped at 200, been there for a LONG time. Also, it should check on random pet item drop to see if you already have the item in question. I've gotten 6 new items recently, but at least 8 more than were repeats.
lots of weapon choices... but no poison weapon? should be a dagger type and scythe type weapons that use venom as an ingredient to make a weapon that does 10% poison damage.
"How do you get MP? "
rest in the inn in town mainly. also, there are mana potions that will restore some, and some fish you can catch. you can't buy the mana potions until later in game, but you can catch the fish fairly early on. Also, it seems it regenerates slowly once you get past the first town, but I'm not sure what the formula is.
"There should be a couple of tier 4 gems available before you fight the boss. Adding more would make the final boss too easy. Tier 4 is supposed to be end game and the new goal to beat the final final boss."
oh, sorry, I'm not being clear. I mean, EARLY in the game, like in the first area, you should have a quest that gives you a random topaz or emerald say, to get a head start on building your first custom weapon.
in fact, I can see where the custom special that boosts item speed and power would be useful, but since the stats are the same on all the custom weapons, are there actually ANY other than that that prove useful that people have tried?
you should get one random gem early on as a quest reward. that would encourage players to start collecting items to make custom weapons. otherwise, by the time you get a gem, you've invested so much in your basic sword that it's hardly worth the effort to make a whole new one.

i picked up 2 new powers at level 14... but they don't show up on the powers list. how do you access them? does the list scroll in some way?
mage picked up that dark area affect spell, didn't catch what the warrior was supposed to have picked up, but whatever it was, it doesn't show (no, it wasn't an improved skill).
bug: silence from arcane blast does not work on the lavamages in ironcold mountains, but there is no message saying they are immune to it. they shouldn't be; they are regular casters after all, not bosses.
my only complaint is that the quality settings keep resetting to "low" every time i go anywhere. gets annoying resetting it to high again all the time.
other than that, game was a nice time waster. lot of fun.
