mine reset to 40xp today after logging in. If the devs want people to pay for this game, they better fix the bugs in it rapidly.
looking good so far. I have had some glitches in upgrading though. sometimes I upgrade a card, it gains a level, then acts as if I never upgraded it (doesn't save the upgrade).
The San Francisco market needs to have one of the level 4 offhand weapons (that can be bought with cash) changed to a main hand weapon. there currently aren't any available there.
btw, the premise that there is an objective morality, and that you can actually consistently argue for it is ludicrous. might want to change that aspect of the game.
nice idea. I'd like to see a lot more of this kind of thing, not just to teach people critical thinking, but for other areas of education as well. Could do one for chemistry, biology, physics... lots of options. that said, the sound effects were a bit over the top, and overused.

this, after 5 minutes of playing.... thought I would give this a try, but apparently it is abandonware. Back to Outernauts for me.
<< nope, turns out it was the two cheetahs that were tuned to buff speed for the enemy side. I had to get a creature over 600 speed to finally beat the falcona's speed. that said, all the levels with 3 safety bubbles are just irritating. should max out at 2.
there is something wrong with battles where there are 3 "safety shields" surrounding each party. when that happens, and there is a falcona on the enemy side, it ALWAYS goes first. Now I have one, and the speed is NOT greater than a flamator with 4 +40 speed gems! It does not have 450 speed! so... obviously something wrong there.
To make gem combining worthwhile, I recommend changing the formula for combining gems. First double the price of combining gems. Then, make it so the gems use the average values of the gems, weighted by the number of each type of gem used, instead of just half value of each rounded up. So, for example, say you used 2 attack gems, one 13 and the other 20, and a speed gem of value 18. First, take the average of the 2 attack gems to the nearest whole number (17). Now add that value to the value of the speed gem (18) to get 35. Since there are 2 attack gems and one speed gem, multiply that total (35) by 2/3 to get the value for the attack for the final gem, and by 1/3 for the speed.
so, final gem would be: 23 attack, 12 speed.
this makes much more sense to me, thus you would spend money to actually get USEFUL gems, rather than watered down useless ones.
a bit repetitious. like the creature design. Might try adding symmetry attacks, like say if a water beast attacks, it adds "wet" to a target, then if an electric attack hits after that, it does double damage. all sorts of interesting combinations could be added. There is a bug with keys getting stuck, so your character endlessly moves in one direction. just remove keyboard movement entirely. it is not necessary.
