and hey, I wouldn't bother flooding the comments section if you bothered to answer questions in the forum instead, which is actually much more appropriate. I am trying really hard to like this game; spent 20 bucks on it.
Actually our preferred method of customer service in regards to 'bugs' is the in game bug reporting button. That way you can get direct feedback 1-on-1 without the need to spam comments. That's why we added the bug reporting button. Still, if you tell us your character name, and provide us with a screen shot of your broken map then we can certainly investigate this for you... if you can fill in all the pertinent details here that would be fab --> https://spicyhorsegames.zendesk.com
still having trouble figuring out how to select specific missions in areas I have already cleared.
example: In the old build, there were a list of missions in each area, once you finished them all, it would allow you to select any of the missions in that area again. Now, all I see is the current default mission for each area, and the difficulty setting I can choose for it. How do I select other missions? This should not be a complex question FFS.
There's now a specific icon for each mission in each 'area' of the map (so 3 icons per area). So just click the icon of the mission you want to play. Of course the other icons will only appear once you've completed the previous mission. But are you saying that you previously had access to and played the other missions that have now disappeared?
game feels like it still has a lot of rough edges; needs a good bit of thought into balancing races too. No race should be so weak relative to the others nobody wants to play it. Things are too expensive early on. does not encourage staying to play longer.
Thank you for your comments. Races are quite balanced and no race is "too weak relative to the other". They have advantages and disadvantages, so it is up to the player to find the right tactics for each army. If a player follows the quests in the beginning, nothing is too expensive. Battle Conquest is not an arcade game, but rather an empire building game which takes time and effort to reach from point A to Z. The good thing is that there are many things a player can do while a building is upgraded, or a technology is being researched. After all, the main feature of the game is real time battles and they WILL reward the player if he is victorious both in resources for his city progress but also in XP for his units and heroes.
Hi there. Not sure where you're having trouble. You just click an icon and then choose the difficulty. Could you be more specific please and we'll help ya out !!
I don't get this. I have played each and every Arkandia since the first, and the code is STILL not optimized for flash. STILL has terrible frame rates, and my pc is 5 times more powerful than the one I played the first Arkandia on! How is it that this author has NEVER OPTIMIZED HIS CODE! seriously dude, you have a great concept here, but I wouldn't hire you as a programmer, that's for sure.
game needs a pause button. community needs a guide as to how to develop your units. seems like a good game... but I'm getting slaughtered past the village tourney.
Hi, I can't check right now (as we're on a national holiday) but I believe that the 3rd upgrade increases the % chance of something happening when using Meteor Rain (E.g... stun or slow etc...)
@nofuture. That's not a bad idea, except the way the game is implemented, you will face opponents in both the campaign and multiplayer that FAR outweigh what a stock boost could produce like that. Even a 30 point boost often would be insufficient, especially by the time you reach the 3rd map. Besides which, there are several cards that allow you to ignore low power cards, even if the wrong element. Some cards even let you ignore opposing elements up to 50 power. So, I think they actually HAVE kinda dealt with the david/goliath scenario at least a bit. play a bit further into the game, and you'll start seeing these cards appear more often.
"with those magic cards if both cards that are played are both even or both odd it will draw"
...but, that's just stupid if the magic card is for "odd", but both cards are even! It should have no effect, period.
