Not very challenging. This game's core works fine but I miss some kind of flavor. Kind of repetitive and shallow... I don't know, it's just more of the same, a very basic game. It's not bad, but it's not good either, that's exactly how I felt playing it - neutral.
Will play again after these bugs are fixed. Besides all that has already been stated, I just got stuck in the middle of a platform. half of the bot crossed the platform due to a bug and now I'll have to restart. I might come back to this game after improvements, but for now it's a 1/5.
This kind of move / solve games are fun, but one thing that I always feel is the lack of speed, the animations and walking speed could be a little bit faster. The play area is somewhat confusing, and sometimes there are circles indicating where you should click and sometimes not. This game reminds me of Little Wheel, for both gameplay and theme, but it doesn't match its predecessor. Decent game overall, 3/5.
A great short game that delivers a lot but suffers from lag when there are a lot of objects flying around and a glitch: the shooting stops when the mouse leaves the game screen. I bypassed completely the rockets: there should be something in the game that makes you really want to change weapons. Other than that great game, catchy theme and good difficulty curve, I also like the way the stages are selected, the upgrades and achievements (which are not too hard or too many, so there's no need for grinding just to get certain achievements, and that's great). It has the right "elements" to keep me going. "Elements", get it? So, for what I've mentioned, 4/5
I'll give it a 3/5 because I see the potential in the game and enjoyed playing, but it has some issues: the black screen at the end; the uselessness of the coins (I thought there was going to be an achievement or at least a counter, since the coins can only be picked up once); if you pick a double jump in mid-air your jump gets clunky and has a delay to jump again, even if you already had double jumps. And YES, I know it was made in only five days, but it doesn't justify rating it 4/5 or 5/5 - it's not fair to rate it the same as other games that took months to be created and deliver a full gaming experience. I can't understand why people rate this higher because it was made in 5 days, even if the game itself doesn't deserve a 5/5. Moreover, the game could be improved before its release on kong.
I'll wait for this game to be fixed. That's why I love the kongregate community, you can really have a taste of what the game is like before playing it. I like the coaster racer series, and don't understand why the name was changed. Anyway, looking forward to play a better version of this game.
I like this series. PROS: No minigames in Snail Bob 7!! Thank god, those minigames were boring and useless. CONS: Every Snail Bob game seems to be laggy at least for me.
A nice game, very well done specially when you consider it was made in 72 hours. The controls are smooth and solid, the blocks could be pushed a little bit faster, though. The structure is very neat, you unlock new powers that allow you to get more "keys" to the main door. The wall climbing is much better than the ones from many games, and the real challenge here is to master the timing / distance to jump, specially when you alternate large / small blocks on the top. A short, challenging and rewarding experience with a lot of technical quality. 5/5
Holy Mother of God, does anyone know the secret to get "The Elite Guard" achievement? I am using every tile-absorbing specials the heroes have and match as fast as I can non-stop in the longest stage possible (30), but the best I can achieve is about 1/3 passed the 4th level.
Nice implementation of the mexican train game, cool graphics and good playability (I only dislike the "drag left and then down" when you draw). BUT... it feels empty to play this because it's like a sandbox version, you set up a game, play it and then it's over. Some sense of progress in form of a campaign, tournament, badges, players stats and so forth could be added to make this game a 5/5.
A small review: Snail Bob 6, as the previous games, has a good concept and game idea for a very light, easy, quick and fun game. Unfortunately this doesn't go well with the lag and slow pace of the game, and the lack of shortcuts to turn or speed up Bob. Some minigames are simply a pain. I'll talk about my experience with the sliding blocks of ice - I literally had to wait more than 100 non-ladybug blocks pass while waiting for the last TWO ladybugs - I had 280 points and they simply would't come. I felt powerless, it was infuriating... When the game plays you and you have to wait for its "kindness" in order to complete the stage, something is very wrong. I liked other Snail Bob games better. The minigame feature could simply be kept out of the game, wouldn't make a difference. "Oh, but you are not obliged to play them" - Yes I am, as the majority of gamers nowadays, I am a completionist.
Cool concept, but got lost in all its errors as already mentioned. I'd like to add to the list the fact that you can only start the same level with the same resources - basically, if you win a level while short on resources, you are screwed in the next one - and possibly will have to reset the game. I couldn't build all my structures because i finished the last level without the money required to do so, and there's simply no way to get more money or replay previous levels. 2/5, and it's a shame, because I can see the potential in this game.
