Yes, there's still a lot of optimization potential for the game. I think most of the performance is actually burned drawing the UI. It's an active area of work and you will certainly see improvements in future versions.
Actually no! The numbers are the same, but some maps have more farm mobs than others, so if your raiders strong enough to not constantly die, later maps will be more effective and give you more xp and gold! Also, there is other secret stuff related to the different farm maps, which I won't spoil. It's nothing too big at the moment, but especially in future versions there will be big reasons to actually go and visit older farm maps from time to time.
so the planet blew up, i moved to the next scene and... everything disappears, cows, FTL indicators, actors, etc. restart, go down a different path, say bye to Louise, go to the next scene... everything disappears again. why? :(
We've been pushing a new version with a fiew bug fixes implemented. Could you retry and tell us if you still have a problem? Plus for most users the game works better on Chrome than on FF or Safari.
best April Fools joke ever: i log in to Swarm, and get a warning that it contains "Blood and Gore, Mild Language, Partial Nudity, Violence". turns out that this was just for the ad for Dark Souls 2, but still fun.
can you add the option to hide the "Default car" decal? it kind of gets in the way, and even if i build my car off it the thing gets recentered on top afterwards
we need more mutagen details. what effects does buying mutagen upgrades *actually have*? how much will the next one cost? etc (just did my first ascension, very disappointed with how much my 5.0e5 mutagen achieved)
the growth scaling is off, imho - at the point at which i can afford to buy the level 5 growth upgrade (10,000 next-level things), those 10,000 produce *so much more* per second than what i'd get by clicking that it's totally not worth it
ugh, had to go to the walkthrough... how exactly am i supposed to know that the first room you enter in the giant cube is supposed to be cyan? and the one above that blue? given how the thing has a wildly different orientation from the spinning one in the hint, trial and error in something like this drives people mad.
"upgrade all" shows the cost in scientific notation, with the actual exponent scrolled way off-screen. apply the same formatting to it as to the other values.
"Lay down your lives if you must, but do NOT let the enemy reach the other side of the screen"
"But they've spent half the waves attacking us from there!?"
"I said lay down your lives, dammit!"
