One of the best flash rhythm games I've played. Some of the songs I really didn't like, some were tolerable. Some I enjoyed. It played really well though, it wasn't always just "follow the bar and hit the notes." Jumping around and hiding notes isn't something I've seen in one of these games before, and it makes it fresh. I would love to see another game with more tunes!
Nothing I haven't seen before. Also, the music isn't that good. It's one really short track that keeps looping but it's not even a real loop; It stops and starts playing again. It's only like 30 seconds long. 2/5 Not very original, terrible music.
Wasn't much of a game. Spent most of the time typing look and reading. Cool concept, but didn't really take anything from it even though I suspect it was meant to have some sort of deeper meaning. 2/5
This game is a cheater. I'm about to win and then all of a sudden the computer has like 6 archtypes (no idea what they're called), 20 archers, and 5 catapults? No. Just... No. it was buying units constantly just like I was, where'd all that excess mana come from? No what? This is my last attempt at the challenge. Not worth it, terrible game. Slow, boring, cheating, repetitive, turd of a game. I'd give it zero but that's impossible. 1 star it is.
Also, I'd like to comment on this whole map business: This game doesn't need one. I NEVER got lost as I used the wilted flowers as a guide to where I'd been, just as the game hinted I do. This was one thing about the game I REALLY liked! It added to the atmosphere of the game, and was, as far as I know, a unique way of doing it. It made exploring a puzzle, which was nice. Instead of having a metroid-map that reveals itself you have flowers that wilt when you've been there eliminating the gameplay-halting map menu entirely. GENIUS!
I don't need to replay to find the various endings, because I can already guess what they are. It was a decent game, but I thought the story was going to have some deeper meaning. For a while I thought that when I'd jumped off the cliff I'd died and was trying to get back. 3/5 I was expecting more. Afterthought: If the sword can slay the demon, why not have a boss fight if you've awakened him? He was imprisoned once right?
