This game becomes a bloodbath at the edges of the play area. It needs people exiting from buildings or subway exits to keep things happening in the middle. 4/5 Though I played this for hours.
1. My fav sfxs are "Spell time!" and "Nifty!" 2. Grinding kinda sucks. 3.The beginning of the game is kind of easy 4. There's a steep spike in difficulty right at the first tower (Though it's half balanced out by the spike in xp gained). There's no curve though. 5. Would be cool to see badges.
Ah and just as I finish commenting and start playing again I immediately remember another point: 5. When hit in the air/on the wall (Ferrics) you just plummet to the ground. That's annoying. (Kong, you really need an edit button. Maybe make it work for 10 minutes after the post was made and THEN it's permanent?)
Great game, but definately Beta. Some points I want to make are: 1. It needs more attack animations (Attacks look awkward in the air). 2. If you hit BackForward instead of BackBack you dodge Forward. This is cool, and I've used it effectively, but it also means it's easy to do by accident and get into trouble for dodging into somewhere you don't want to be. 3.Shameless plugs of paid content, even while the game is STILL IN BETA! 4. As mentioned: Rediculous Spore prices (obviously meant to entice paying Kreds). But to balance bad with good I'll say I love the idea. Steampunk with 3 varieties of platforming in the same game? Winning combo! Anyway, I'll continue playing for now. More points to come! Rating Pending. Right now it stands at 4/5 -1 for Capitalist execution = 3/5
I revise my earlier comment (Ok, so it's from months ago... And I've deleted it...) to say I really like where this series is going, and it's actually COOL who you turn out to be. Can't wait to see how it ends!
Was finally able to get the badge for this game! Wonderful Aesthetic. Not a bad puzzle game either. :) I liked it's style. Although, it's not too challenging and re-playability is an issue as well.
It's ore of the same. After playing the first two Factory Balls it didn't take me long to get through this one. Granted there were 2 or 3 levels that stumped me for a while, this game ultimately brings nothing new to the series. If there's a FB4 it'll have to be great to get me to come back. Replayability is also an issue. Now that I have the badges for this one and it's prequels I have no reason to ever play again.
Game doesn't end when you beat it. And clicking the solved number to clear all the spaces around it isn't explained.. I happened across it by accident. Neat to see it converted to Flash, but the interface isn't that intuitive.
I think a grid would be too easy but you could certainly add it AS an easy mode. There were some puzzles where I missed completely and I figured that as part of the challenge :). Last stage is also a bit anti-climactic. Way too easy.
Sorry for the double post (Edit button, Kongregate?) but it's also counter-productive to insult your audience in your updates. No matter how abusive their being. Also, it should be BY keyboard, not MY keyboard (typo in my last post). Also, are random experiments ALWAYS solvable? Maybe I just can't figure this one out... :P
Really liked this game. And I actually really like the menu system as well. I was entertained by the pickup lines in the background. I read them while I was waiting for a particularly long transfer to occur. Sound could use improvement.. I turned it off as soon as I was able. I didn't mind the 'Specie' flying off into infinity. It kind of made it obvious I'd screwed up :P (Hitting R really isn't that hard people. Really?) All in all though, it COULD use some improved code, new music, and maybe make the menus navigable my keyboard OR mouse, to please the lazy types. Also, a level editor would be an awesome addition. I could see a lot of cool stuff done with the lines left behind by the 'Specie'. 3/5 so far, but I hope to see it improved!) (Also, badges/achievements??)
Good time waster. I encountered a glitch where even my breath had the "shoot bow" sound. Also, I think if you have a healer guardian, and you slay it, you should get a bit of a worse ending :P
I'm sure this has been mentioned, buuut the last boss started the fight with only 30 health... In the credits it says this project can be laid to rest.. It's a good game (I did get addicted to it) but it desperately needs polish. Sell all button for weapons and armor???
