Spoilers: In the real timeline, Future Todd is a man filled with regret for his actions earlier in life. The love of his life, Future Angela, marries Future Clint in the real timeline. They grow to be rich people and Future Todd ends up being a poor thief. Future Todd buys an earpiece that allows him to simulate his own past life (but not rewrite it, hence why he is not in charge of his own actions). The earpiece is worth one thousand dollars (hence the name of the game). Future Todd murders Future Clint and binds Future Angela, then travels into the past using the earpiece. However, Future Todd needs the earpiece to get back to his own timeline and if other people in the separate timeline use it, he gets stuck in the past.
You know, I'm totally glad that we didn't have to debate everyone in the Intelligible Realm. Then Greg would have to name his badge
"Mass Debater". Just imagine yourself completing the game and yelling aloud, "Woohoo! I am a Great Mass Debater!"
Whatever you do, do NOT enable auto fire. It makes the game harder because then you cannot shoot superbullets (don't shoot for a while, and the superbullet superpower charges up. The green bar on the right of the screen shows how much your superbullets charge. Shooting when the green bar is full means more bullets are fired.)
He ... keeps his wallet in his undies? Imagine how much they've stretched after holding hundreds of thousands of dollars. For EXTENSIVE PERIODS while he saves for the next upgrade. How do the shop owners cope with weird-smelling money?
Slender in a nutshell: If you don't watch your back you die. If you watch your back you die. If you aren't fast enough you die. If you go too fast you need to slow down and catch your breath. Then you die. Collect a page, and you die. Collect none, you’ll lose. And you die. If you go into the bathroom you die. If you don’t, you can’t win. So you lose… and die. If you touch Slender you die. If you don’t touch Slender, you see him and die of a heart attack. If you use your flashlight you die. If you don’t use your flashlight, you can’t see him, so you’ll bump into him and die. If you play in Nighttime mode, you die. If you play in Daytime mode, you still die. When you lose you die. If you win, you die anyway. There’s just no winning in this game, is there?
If you think you're giving away free tea, you're not. You're just pocketing the profits of your shipments. For example, let's say you sell 600 billion cups of tea. Sell each cup at 1 pence net profit, that makes 290 million pounds profit. That's 21.3 billion pounds in today's prices! Sadly, the Chinese only bartered in silver, and Britain wasn't going to open its treasury and give its silver to anyone, least of all China. In other words, your opium/tea business will be worth more than the software empire of Bill Gates (80 billion USD), but you can't use your profits to get any more silver coins. I think something the developers didn't think of is that just because you have to spend your silver coins on tea, doesn't mean you have to spend silver coins on opium as well. Allowing the use of English currency to buy opium would have added an extra layer of complexity and common sense to the game AND lowered the difficulty a little. It'd also show you you're actually making money. Sigh -_-
After Sauron fell off his tower, everyone thought he had died. But now he is back, and he is ready to reclaim his lands he once ruled... with rainbows. From the top-right corner of the screen. THIS IS HIS STORY.
Very good game. The music surrounding the atmosphere is great. Just a couple of coding errors: firstly, you gain combos from hitting corpses. Secondly, combos are only counted when you time out the combo (i.e. the combos have to end to count). Otherwise great game. 5/5
You know, judging by the fact a damn near indestructible blimp made out of fabric can endure the power of an exploding metal rocket, the scientist would make the rocket out of fabric. But no.
There was a game exactly like this, but better. It's called Puddle, and it got awesome awards at IGF 2010. The game had great art, but it also had what your water doesn't have: cohesion. It also had a meter that indicated how many drops of water were on your screen when you were playing. Seriously, look up videos of Puddle. I don't think your art can be as godly as theirs, but control over the liquid can use some work. Apart from that, good game. 4/5
For those still having problems on the harder levels, when an enemy cell attacks it leaves itself vulnerable. This is especially true of the harder levels, where an enemy cell may unleash tank attacks (move 20 or more nanos) leaving the cell with 5-6 nanos. Take advantage and attack the cell when it does and while you still can, as it will not stay vulnerable for long.
*Strategy Guide* 1. Quickly gain cells by attacking neutral 8s. Grab big cells only if on low health. 2. Make the cells relatively close to one another. 3. Select ALL cells when moving units. 4. Spam unit moves when attacking a cell. Just keep clicking. This prevents weak enemy cells from moving units. 5. When enemy moves a tank (blob of 20 or higher) move cells to area you think it will attack. This decreases damage. Also helps if you move stuff in way of tank - decreases tank size. - This helped me win lvl 12 within 3 tries. + if it helps.
Nope, but thanks for playing!
