Level 1 Gold Star: On your 1st turn, deploy all 5 armies to S. Europe. Then use three armies to attack the Ukraine, then two to attack the Middle East. You MUST occupy both by the end of Turn 1. If you do not, restart. After you manage to occupy both, deploy all 10 of your armies to attack Middle East. Then use as many armies as possible to attack India, then Siam, then Indonesia. Do this by deploying on the country you last conquered, then deploying all of your armies. Then split the armies 50-50 on turn 5 to get both New Guinea and Western Australia. Finally, on turn 6 hit Eastern Australia with everything you've got. Then you'll get your gold star for Level 1.
This game is a degradation of a stereotypical American high school's social hierachy, where Hans is lower on the "social" ladder than the cheerleader. Hans, being on the bottom of said social ladder, is rejected constantly, and thus champions an egalitarian utopia (i.e. a world where everyone is the same). However, this utopia would lead to the cheerleader's loss of social status, which is key to her existence. Disenchanted, the cheerleader removes Hans' utopian existence. Hans has his ego crushed as a result and commits suicide. Any questions?
Whoa, great interpretation! The only thing I don't like about it is the suicide part, which can be seen to be wrong if you wait until after the credits. But other than that, I'm very impressed! Thanks for playing and writing!
This game is actually one of my favorites. It has an absolutely amazing story, and the puzzles are defined not only by simple details in the setting, but also by some of the story's concepts. Seriously, great job. 5/5
Strategy guide: The sum total of all numbers on the board is a multiple of 10. So it doesn't matter how you add the numbers, as long as all numbers are seperated into multiples of 10. Try forming tens on the corners or edges of the board. This will help you move tens more easily, and also no numbers will be blocked off. Since there is addition only, be careful what you add. If you add a 1 for example, you won't be able to add a 9 unless you have a subtraction block. Also try using subtraction blocks on big numbers to make them smaller and more usable.
Referee, you are a biased piece of sh*t. Why are you stopping the ball in the middle of the field for the mentally retarded player to allow him to visualize the trajectory of the ball, and then chucking the ball in whatever direction pleases you?
Note to all players: The badges worked in the past, because some people managed to earn the badges. The problem was probably caused by a Flash Player update. If you can find a way to downgrade to Flash Player 9, the badges should work. + so others can see.
On floor 2 I was like "Okay, got the screwdriver, now let's- HOLY SHIT! Quick, get to the door, get to the door! Where's the button?! Oh wait, I can use the screwdriver on the panel to- OH SHIT I DROPPED THE SCREWDRIVER!"
At the end of the dark underground hallway, you'll find a toy plush tiger. Place the tiger on Cody's bed (found in the room unlocked with the silver key) to reveal a special ending!
If you collect all 15 notes, the text reads: "I first encountered this phenomenon in the early 80's, but it seems They have existed since the dawn of the human race. Commonly known as the Night Folk, or Shadow People, they live in the realm of dreams but desperately want to get to our realm, by possessing vulnerable, unoccupied bodies. As long as you don't know you are dreaming, you are safe... They attack when they sense a mind detached from its body, which sometimes happens during comas, but much more often during OOBEs and Lucid Dreaming."
Fun fact: In the original game, "Deep Sleep", there is a room with writing that says "Little Cody wants his plushie tiger". Place the plushie tiger on Cody's bed in this game, and Cody wakes up at the end of the game. This combined with the surreal horror setting shows the developer had insight. 5/5 for all of it, and am eagerly waiting for the sequel.
I still reckon a better badge name would be "A Tittle or Two" :D Great game with unique mechanics. The sound effects sound part retro, but also part sarcastic. Never fails to impress. 5/5
To all who are stuck on level 4: You don't have to put the two scientist's luggage next to each other, just in the *same compartment*. Putting them next to each other makes you stuck. So don't do it. + so others can see.
