Okay... it was late and I misclicked some character, so there was actually missing something to what I tried... changed my mark to 5/5. (I just get easily upset when I can't progress using a walkthrough)
The puzzle-like time is booooring. I'll just leave before rage-quitting. On the whole, the series is not bad but it's wasted by annoyances I can't just pass away. I like puzzles, but when all you've done is wasted every several moves, it takes hours to do what should only take minutes, because the several moves it takes to correct bring to another counter-move you must correct... and so on for hours.
We're sorry you found the puzzle so hard to complete; until now, every tester - and, judging by the comments, every player - managed to get through it and didn't found it too hard, but we guess difficulty is a relative thing.
We're very sorry that you left the game - solved the puzzle, the ending would be very close.
Maybe one day we'll release an 'easy difficulty' mode, toggling off the puzzles, so you'll be able to complete the game ;)
Thank you for the feedback!
:-O I did EXACTLY what the walkthrough tells I must do and the game still doesn't allow me to enter the sanctuary... sorry, but I give it 1/5 unless this gets fixed.
OK... now, it's for real : 1/5. I really liked the previous Earn to die, because it was a lot of fun playing them... but this one is just a pain in the ass. The car is always bouncing like a rugby ball and it far too often finishes on its roof in a tunnel, where nothing can be done but wait for the tank to empty before trying again. I'll give it some time, becaus I'd like to see more than I saw, but I believe I won't play to the end. A shame, since as someone said, the multiple paths are a great idea... but it's not enough to make a good game.
Tooooo looooong. I would rate this game 5 if I could speed time... but I'm only allowed to "jump to" way too late.
That makes the game non-playable to me : I don't have real-world hours to spend just waiting for a crew member to call me.
Technically perfect, but I just don't enjoy it.
difficulty raises too quickly (3rd wave wiped me when I did rather well the previous ones : no enemy passed my defenses on the second wave). And the callenges are impossible by now. I HATE silly farming, and I don't have time to play the same waves again and again.
Only two things that forbid me to give a 5/5 : boss is a bit too easy compared to the other islands and this extremely annoying moving power icons. Several times, they flew away from my mouse pointer jus as I was clicking them, making me lose some precious time to go chase them.
But the game was really enjoyable anyway and it's a 4/5 without thinking twice about it.
Didn't puzzle me a little bit for the 19 fisrt levels.
Find 20th impossible to me.
What about scaling difficulty ?
I drop before ragequitting.
Rather good ideas for a puzzle game, anyway.
Only 4/5 because Tornado seems useless to me. Either it has a really poor aiming or I didn't understand what it is for : enemies struck by it seem not to be harmed.
Really fun and enjoyable game anyway.
A bit uneasy with using items on text rather then on the picture. Those are a bit like old magnetic scrolls : only there for show, but it prevents pixel-hunting and that's a good thing. A reather linear game but I really liked it.
Waiting for the next chapter !
Thank you very much for your feedback!
We're glad you've appreciated our choice to prevent pixel-hunting. Many other players, though, would prefer an interactive background. We are looking for the better way to have an interactive environment AND a system wich doesen't involve pixel-hunting.
No problem, the important thing is focusing on having fun ;)
