I can barely read some of the characters' text. Particularly the bird. If you're going to use dark colors for the text, you need to use a white background.
I had 7600 creation and bought an Angel. Despite now only having 100 left, I was able to buy one of all the other items as well, giving me a total of -6000 or so. At this point in development, this is game basically just proof of concept.
I was completely flummoxed on 24 until I finally realized that spot in the middle is YELLOW. I kept thinking it was white, and couldn't see any way to avoid painting it the entire time.
If you ended the game with three secrets unlocked and the message:"thanks for playing this demo" then you didn't miss anything. The x67 is for the full game! :) Thanks for playing!
Handful of bugs. I wiped out all humans without infecting all regions. Halfway through the game, the global number of infections went to 0 and never reflected the actual number infected (visible by selecting that specific region). The Vaccine Deployment bar on the map started at 100% full (correct percentage visible on stats page). All hospitals were shown on the stats page as being open even though the individual regions said they were closed (and there were no people left in those regions).
Absolutely perfect difficulty curve. Just hard enough to be frustrating without being infuriating. Also, why have all you sticky people not turned off Sticky Keys on your computer yet?
Also, it would be much better if the upgrades were sorted by cost rather than type (or at least we had that option). As it is, the only upgrades I can afford keep getting pushed off screen and I have to scroll to get to them.
Not being able to afford the next capacity upgrade until 1 second before you run out of capacity is a real downer. Plus the fact that it increases capacity by such a small amount means all I'm really doing is buying capacity upgrades over and over.
Seemed like this game was nothing more than buying whatever upgrades I was able to as soon as I was able to without thinking until I eventually was able to launch the ship.
Ok, I'm completely stumped on 24. I can get to the final 4 enemies with 9/3/1. But that doesn't even let me defeat 3 of them. The 1st star has to be used on the hex. The 2nd has to be used to get the right knife. The 3rd star has to be used on the spiky at the 1-way. And the 4th has to be used to get the shield. So I'm lost.
Is it more cost efficient, given my current numbers, to hit the tree or the log? No idea, I have no indication as to what the effects would be. Why is Explore on top when it's the last button that I'm able to click? Maybe even a single sentence explaining that you gain sp by leveling up?
you cant click it because its a sort of skill. unlocked after a first rebirth. i didn't use any extensive libraries so it wasn't really easy to do tool tips
The "or have you" was very weird. I knew there was supposed to be another level, but nothing I pressed did anything. Apparently this is the only point in the game that requires a mouse. Allowing Level 25 to be activated via, say, spacebar would be a much better choice for a game that has been keyboard only throughout.
Noted - colors will be tweaked for next build.
