Thanks to pldl for letting me know which levels I needed to keep raging on and which ones to just forget about. Level 30 was the one that took me the most times, just because of the number of times I had to be pixel perfect.
I am apparently a paintbrush, and my job is to find bugs. And I do this by continually clicking the mouse button until this girl finally stops talking. A girl whose eyes randomly change into silver circles every once in a while. And the object of the game is apparently to listen to everything this girl keeps rambling on about. Once again, I am a paintbrush... who debugs code... and listens to some girl talk... a LOT. Okay, I've got half the bugs now, and I absolutely hate everything about what I'm doing.
High Scores got screwed when this got badged. Everyone who beat it before the badge starts with the ending level where you can't die, and so gets a score of 0. I'm not complaining about being tied for the top score or anything, just an observation.
I agree 100% with @Duplete. This game is basically Shift with half of the mechanics missing and without the witty script. Not being able to rotate mid-air is a game killer.
Really enjoyed the game. Liked the whole noir feeling of it. One issue though.I'm not sure how much D.E.D. (Ragebolt) charged you for the English translation, but you should get your money back. Please get someone else to do Chapter 2. Ideally someone who speaks English fluently.
Just wanted to echo @Mihoshika's comment. I got stuck a couple of times by jumping into a ladder, but missing and hitting the wall on the other side. I could turn, but I couldn't move. Had to quit the game and reload it.
My 3H half-life is currently 12+ years. How does this number go down? What do I get for completing missions? What do the isotopes do? What does anything do? Why doesn't the Encyclopedia explain anything to do with the game itself?
I have no idea what to do. I've hit the s right in time with the notes, but it hesitates for like a quarter second. If I hit it a quarter second earlier, it hesitates for half a second.
@Fairbanksls Because they're not as rational as you're being in their "honesty." Saying "If I wanted to read I'd go to a library" isn't being honest as much as it's just being dickish.
I love how, after the reset when this FINALLY actually becomes an idle game, it just keeps replacing my highest tier color and leaves all the others. So it's actually mostly worthless. Terrible, terrible execution.
This game owes basically everything in it's existence to Matt Thorson's incredible Jumper series. I spent so many hundreds of hours back in 2004-05 with that game. Thanks DamianSommer, now I'm gonna go dl those games and stay up all night and be late for work. You jerk.
I hate games with open solutions, like craft your own solution based on physics. I hate "lolol figuring out how to do it is half the fun!" No, DOING it is the fun. Accomplishing it is the fun. Figuring it out is work.
OK thanks - I'll see if I can reproduce that and fix it.
