New event really adds to the fun. "we know your problem with the other events: they were too easy to cash in on! Now you can wait for a slow spinner every time!"
Loving this one (of course), but I do think that it would be better if down did the ground pound bounce, and up in the air would do nothing. Trying to go fast on level 10 can be a problem when I am trying to bounce, touch up a few pixels early, and end up bouncing.
Needs more responsive walking. If i'm trying to inch up on the spot I need to launch myself safely, I either move a pixel by tapping, or gain momentum quickly and overshoot.
A level select would be nice. I beat the game when it was new, started a new game for fun, and now had to start from Switch when the badge came out. Still a really well-executed game and an easy 5.
So sorry! This is a glitch I had encountered before but it was not happening in my local copy. I'll have it fixed very soon. Thank you for making me aware of this!
Instead of "buy to ___" and "buy exact," there should be a "buy to next upgrade" option. When it stops being at every 100, you have to check the trophy room to decide if each purchase is worthwhile. That's just silly.
I feel like early in the game (maybe there's a better option later on) there needs to be a way to throw the enemies off your trail. Once I'm spotted I really have no chance to do anything.
Start of the game... not good. If you want the player to have one hit, give them one hit. Not "2 forced hits in directions you figure out by trial and error, then precise movement that's only tough because your dude is oddly shaped."
